Parkour!

Ghostrunner is one of those games that is high energy from start to finish. You are a cybernetic ninja with acrobatic capabilities that would put the circus to shame. You are tasked with climbing a building higher and higher in search of revenge. If you have ever played Mirror's Edge, then expect a similar gameplay style. The game is in first-person with music and DualSense controls that are sure to keep you engaged.

Prepare to die a lot in Ghostrunner. Figuring out how to progress comes with much trial and error. Luckily respawns are instant, although checkpoints are not always forgiving.

I'm really enjoying this game so far. It runs at 120fps on PS5 with upscaled 4K resolution. There are a few bugs here and there, such as volume dropping out, and making completing some levels entirely too difficult, forcing you to start again from the beginning. I'm sure that'll be patched quickly.

I'm happy that I only paid $10 for the PS4 version of this game and then was given the PS5 upgrade at no additional cost. Ghostrunner satisfies my urge for fast-paced action and a true challenge.
