A whole lot of duty 🔫👑

The original Call of Duty (COD) was released way back in 2003. I was there for it, but it was COD2 that really got me hooked on the series. That game was my first experience with online multiplayer and I learned that it was something I would never stop enjoying.

Fast forward to 2023 and we land far into the future where nearly two dozen COD games are in existence and another one is soon to release in a few months. Some don't like the yearly cycle, but there is no denying that COD games sell very well every single year. The world loves this game, no matter the many flaws its ecosystem may have.

I've played every single COD game ever created, so I think I have a pretty valid opinion about these games. That is why today I wanted to discuss my favorite COD games from the PS4/PS5 era. Anything before 2013 will not be included in today's video.

All gameplay footage is from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Spoiler, this is my favorite COD game on this list today, but it somehow is not my most played. Watch the full video to learn why my total hours played does not necessarily mean that I did or didn't love that particular COD game.

Speaking of hours played, I wanted to provide my stats since PlayStation keeps track of that.

There's a total of 10 COD games that I will discuss today. The only one missing from this list is COD Ghosts, which I played on Xbox 360 before I completely moved over to the land of PS4.

I've spent a whopping 1,067 hours playing COD since 2013 and that's not counting my time spent playing the betas. To me, that is a lot, but I know many have well over 1,000 on just one single COD game. I don't game quite that much, but I always try to make time to play some COD so that my skills never disappear.
