Sometimes I go into my Gran Turismo 7 livery designs with absolutely no idea of what I'm going to create. The first step is always figuring out what color I want the body of the car to be painted. This time I went with a fluorescent lime green that is impossible to not see from afar.
I knew that I wanted the color theme to be lime green and black, the rest was bound to uncover itself. I ended up leaning towards evil green more than lime green. What I mean by that is I made sure that all of my decals were creepy.
The black cat that reads "Purr Evil" is one of the cutest spooky designs I've ever seen. Mix that with a green legend ghost, a zombie, the Cthulu chant, and even some random hobs here and there. That's the general idea of this one. Bright, yet dark. Hell, I even decided to include a sloppily painted pentagram design above the rear wheels. It's all about aesthetics with this one, not symbolism.
I'd be surprised if someone can tell me which famous brand's logo I used to create the green triangle design above the front wheels. Comment below if you know the answer.
As for the car itself, the BMW M2 Competition is an absolute beast of a car. It's a RWD car powered by a 405-horsepower, turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder engine that has the option of a six-speed manual transmission. It's a driver's dream car really. Small, nimble, quick, and attractive. What more could you ask for in a competitive track car?
Compete this car does indeed. I took it out on the track for the first time and was immediately impressed with how quickly it accelerated and how poised it is on the track. Handling is great and you really can't go wrong with this car unless you don't know how to use the brakes.
I wouldn't say that this is my favorite design that I've created, but I do love it a lot and think it does a great job of standing out. That was my main goal. I love to draw the attention of other racers when competing online. That way whenever I win, they will never be able to forget the moment that a car that looked as good as it drives defeated them.
What is your favorite design aspect of this car? It makes me want to do other horror-themed livery designs. I could easily combine all sorts of different scary movies into one car. Add some blood and perhaps a few sinister quotes here and there. It sounds like a lot of fun. Who knows, maybe you will see something like that from me in the future. Be sure to give me a follow so you don't miss out on future creations of mine.
