Sup everyone, this game surprises me more and more, it is definitely worthy of a remastering, the story and game mechanics have been most amazing, although with some graphical glitches that the most critical could not overlook, however, they are nothing that tarnish the fun that the game offers, especially in this mission where I set out to race race cars from the 1930s.
Que tal todos, este juego me sorprende cada vez más, definitivamente es digno de una remasterización, la historia y la mecánica de juego han sido de lo mas sorprendente, aunque con algunos fallos gráficos que los más críticos no podrían pasar por alto, sin embargo, no son nada que empañe la diversión que el juego ofrece, especialmente en esta misión donde me dispongo a correr autos de carrera de los años 1930.
At first I thought it would be something simple, I told myself it would be a piece of cake, all my life I played racing games and I've always considered myself good enough with this kind of game, come on, I played all the freaking licensed Gran Turismos more than once, and I faced many times the frantic races of Need for Speed, so taking a little car from the 30's didn't seem like a big deal, in fact, I thought it would even be slow.
Al principio pensé que seria algo sencillo, me dije a mi mismo que seria pan comido, toda mi vida jugué juegos de carrera y siempre me he considerado lo suficientemente bueno con este tipo de juego, vamos, jugué todas las freaking licencias de Gran Turismos mas de una vez, y me enfrente muchas veces a las frenéticas carreras de Need for Speed, así que tomar un cochecito de los años 30 no parecía gran cosas, es más, pensé que sería hasta lento.
Before getting the car, first I had to go to the garage of the gang, this unlocked the option to save any vehicle that Tommy gets in the future, to have it available for future missions or just to drive around the city, for this mission I chose a coupe car with V8 engine and I customized it a little, something that I liked a lot because it is a very particular feature of racing games, or any sand box.
Antes de hacerme con el coche, primero debía dirigirme al garaje de la banda, con esto se desbloqueó la opción de resguardar cualquier vehículo que en el futuro Tommy consiga, tenerlo disponible para futuras misiones o para simplemente dar recorridos por la ciudad, para este inicio de misión escogí un carro coupé con motor V8 y lo personalice un poco, algo que me gusto mucho porque es una característica muy particular de los juegos de carreras, o de cualquier sand box.
With this mission it is clear that Tommy must comply with the will of the boss, he is getting deeper and deeper into the mafia and it looks very difficult that he can detach himself from this life in the future, as he tries from the beginning that he is telling the story to the police. The detail in this part of the story he tells is that the Salieri family is losing ground, a victory is needed and the only way is to win this race, but it will not be easy because Tommy will have to use all his skills to achieve it.
Con esta misión queda claro que Tommy debe cumplir con la voluntad del jefe, cada vez más se adentra en la mafia y se ve muy difícil que se pueda desprender de esta vida en un futuro, como trata desde un principio que está contando la historia a la policía. El detalle en esta parte de la historia que relata es que la familia Salieri está perdiendo terreno, se necesita una victoria y la única manera es ganar esta carrera, pero no será fácil porque Tommy tendrá que usar todas sus habilidades para lograrlo.
After receiving the instructions from the boss, I went in search of the race car, the idea is to sabotage the car of the Morello family that is more likely to win and gain more control over the city, which would result in the end of the Salieri family, so all hopes are placed on this job.
Después de recibir las instrucciones del jefe, fui en búsqueda del carro de carreras, la idea es sabotear el carro de la familia Morello que tiene más probabilidades de ganar y hacerse con mas control sobre la ciudad, lo que resultaría en el fin de la familia Salieri, así que todas las esperanzas están puestas en este trabajo.
Upon arriving at the site of the race car and giving the first acceleration I was surprised by its power and speed, to the point that I crashed it a couple of times before reaching the destination, it was obvious that the brakes are not his forte, which I found very successful, because the vehicles of those years did not have disc brakes, they were band and braking was very long, that touch of realism made me appreciate the game much more to see how the developers did a job in the details.
Al llegar al sitio del carro de carreras y dar la primera acelerada me sorprendió su potencia y velocidad, al punto que lo estrelle un par de veces antes de llegar al destino, era obvio que los frenos no son su fuerte, lo que me pareció muy acertado, porque los vehículos de aquellos años no tenían frenos de discos, eran de banda y la frenada era muy larga, ese toque de realismo me hizo apreciar mucho mas el juego al ver como los desarrolladores hicieron un trabajo en los detalles.
