Quest Potions?
Here we go, the second day of a new season in Splinterlands.
With it, came an unexpected find the other day whereby there are items called Quest Potions being sale thanks to a video by on Youtube the other day.
What are Quest Potions?
Well in short, Quest Potions add 5 chests to your daily quest winnings.
If you were earning 1 chest from your quests in Bronze, now you'll earn 6.
If you were earning 2 chests from your quests in Silver, now you'll earn 7.
And so on and so forth.
Now, with prices being roughly 750 DEC or $7.50 for 11 charges, it seems like a pretty good deal considering each charge is costing us about $0.68. It gets even cheaper if you buy a 100 charges but that's a story for a future post ;)
Back on topic, what I did was purchase $7.50 worth of Quest Potions that gave me 11 charges.
As a test run, I'll be keeping track of my daily quest rewards over the next 11 days, to see if it is actually worth it to buy these potions.
Results
Here are the results of the first day, still in Bronze but slowly climbing back to Silver.
Day 1: 51 DEC, 3 Alchemy Potions, Ant Miners (Regular LVL 1).
Cost per Quest Potion = $0.68
Day 1 Gain = $0.70 ($0.33 (DEC at time of posting) + $0.13 (Alchemy potions) + $0.24 (cards))
Day 1 Profit = $0.02
Hey, 2 cents is nothing to shout at but this is just illustrating the fact that yes, Quest Potions are definitely worth it, even with a crappy pull.
Well that's it for today. Will be tracking this series for as long as it's possible and we'll see how far we can get with $7.50 worth of charges.
