After playing for a while I now have an inkling of how the story goes.
Our Protagonist and his donkey got seperated along with his spoils from 'tomb raiding'. and while looking for his donkey and being lost in the process, He meets Elika who is trying to escape her captors.
Our protagonist helped Elika escape her pursuers, along the way our protagonist learns that Elika has magic powers and is something like a priestess for the god Ormazd, God of Light.
The Protagonist helped Elika reach a temple and inside the temple they find a glowing tree, they are then confronted by a man who is Elika's father. our protagonist learns that her Father is the King and Elika, his daughter is a princess.
a fight ensued between the Protagonist with Elika and the King. defeated and out of options the King decided to cut the glowing tree.
The earth trembled, the floor crumbled and dark energies spilled forth. Our Protagonist and Elika managed to escaped out of the temple and saw that the sky and the land they knew is now engulf in darkness.
The Protagonist learns from Elika that the temple served as a prison for Ahriman, God of Darkness. And while the seal was broken it wasn't destroyed, but should Ahriman be released it would meant the doom of the world as they know it.
having no options our Protagonist decided to help Elika purify the 'Fertile Lands' that has been corrupted by Ahriman, hoping that it 'might' repair the seal in the temple and in doing so stop Ahriman escaping his prison.
Stopping the Protagonist and Elika from their goal are:
The Envirorment that you need to traverse through parkour,
The Servants of Ahriman: The Hunter, The Alchemist, The Concubine and The Warrior,
and Light Seeds that you need a certain amount to purify other fertile lands.
I do enjoy the world building via the Protagonist and Elika's Conversations and Banters. I must say however that pressing the 'conversation' button multiple times leaves much to be desired.
I remembered why I stopped playing this game, the discomfort of motion sickness, the collection of light seeds and the occasional force-closing.
I will omit the collecting of light seeds from these playthrough videos.
That's all for now,
Cheers.
