Team Building...inb4 you have that friend shouting orders on discord.
Unrailed! is a game where the objective of the game is to guide the train from station A to station B and getting as far as possible.
all while managing water wagons, gathering resources to craft train tracks and placing said train tracks to traverse over bodies of water, lava and space via bridges and around impassable locations.
this game supports online lobbies and local multiplayer.
[NOTE: you can play alone with an A.I. , it's pretty good and can take instructions well.]
where's the next station?
After reaching the next station you are then presented to a menu screen, in here you are allowed to add and upgrade wagons by spending bolts and change the their positions.
wagons range from water wagons to dynamite producing wagons.
[Note: additional bolts can be found on every stage.]
[PROTIP: use this time to take a pee pee.]
when you upgrade your locomotive/Engine you can add more wagons to your train and reset the bonus speed that you and your friends accumulate as you complete stages, But the biomes you play in also change, adding gameplay elements.
[NOTE: you need wood to make bridges on the first three biomes, you need iron to build bridges on the last three biomes.]
[NOTE: you can enable motion sickness mode in accessibility settings to disable screen flipping in Hell.]
Dynamite in action!, beware for friendly fire though, or not 😆.
Versus Mode, you can hinder the competition via the cannon wagon.
When I rate things, I always use a three-point system.
1 for Bad
2 for Okay
3 for Great
I must point out that I have very low standards and is easily impressed.
so it's very hard for me to give a score of 1,
and very easy for me to give a score of 3.
Unrailed!, 2020, 3/3. Great game to socialize with friends.
The Good:
Simple Controls.
Difficulty Slider.
Chill.
Fun.
Versus Mode.
You can play it with kids.
The Bad:
the game magically speeds up time in real life, when you start to play with friends at 8:00 PM, it's already 3:00 AM when you and your friends are done.
The Neutral:
I wish it had in-game voice chat for public lobbies, but I feel the Emoji Wheel is enough.
A gamepad is preferred.
Final Thoughts:
it's a relaxing game that me and my friends found ourselves talking (via steam chat) various topics as we play this game via online multiplayer.
it's also a good game to play with friends using Steam 'Remote Play Together'.
I guess that's it for now.
Cheers. 😁
