Jedi: Fallen Order is amazing
Jedi: Fallen Order is a game that I have started several times, but never made it past the first 30 minutes of the game. This was mainly because I have severe ADHD when it comes to games and if I don't like something in the first few minutes, I usually don't continue with it.
Well, I am glad that I gave this one another chance, because I am really enjoying it so far. I was never into the Star Wars movies and don't really care too much about what goes on with their stories. I did watch The Mandalorian and I really enjoyed that, but I didn't care for the Star Wars movies or the millions of spin offs that have been released on Disney+.
But when I saw in the Playstation store that the sequel to Fallen Order was coming out in March, I had to check it out. The trailer for Jedi: Survivor looks pretty amazing. I knew I had to give Fallen Order another try so that I could be caught up with the story.
The game stars Cameron Monaghan, who I knew from the TV series Shameless. He was an amazing actor in that show and he does a great job as a Jedi. Even Forest Whitaker makes an appearance in this game and even has his wonky eye.
The graphics in this game are really good. I downloaded the PS5 version of the game that has some improved visuals and it looks awesome. One of my favorite parts so far was when you get to take over one of the huge AT-AT Walkers and just demolish stuff.
You don't get to drive it around too long before it is destroyed. I don't really have any idea where the story goes in this game. It appears that the Jedis have been pretty much destroyed, but you are a Jedi that has been hiding and now you are traveling the galaxy trying to rebuild the Jedi Order.
Along the way you get to make friends with some Bigfoot people that just make weird noises at you.
There are some cool upgrade paths you can take while playing that help you become a badass Jedi. You can use the force to slow things down or push them around. I like to push people off cliffs.
You even find cool customization options for your lightsaber so you can kill bad guys in style.
Wow, doesn't my guy look cool with his orange stick? Along the way, you befriend a tiny robot named BD-1 that is actually really cute. You can even find and unlock different skins for your companion.
The game is a lot of fun so far. I really like the exploration aspect of it. The worlds are pretty cool with how they created them and there are so many different secrets to find. I like that there is no real HUD in the game and you have to go to your map screen to see where you need to go. I usually just explore and I somehow find out where I am supposed to go.
Here is the trailer for the new one so you can see how cool it is going to be. I am sure a lot of you have already played this game and love it. After a few days of playing, I can see why it has done so good and why there is so much hype around this new one. I am definitely going to be playing Jedi: Survivor when it comes out. I can't wait to cut things with my orange stick in that game too.
