I used RPG Maker at some point, and the best thing about it is its community, besides it is a very good way to start developing video games if you don't have much experience, although you have to learn a lot because it is not easy either, especially in people who make their own games, I'm talking about people who don't use things made by others. I have a lot of years since I didn't use it, I don't know how the new versions will be, I'm sure they are great.
