The Pokemon Pocket game has a new set coming out on March 26, 2026. It is called Mega Shine. This B2B set features shiny Pokemon including Mega Charizard X ex and Mega Gengar ex.
Some of the English cards have been revealed.
Scyther
Scyther is a Grass Basic attacker. The U-Turn is a hit and run attack that deals 10 damage.
Phione
Phione is a Basic Water Pokemon that is good in the early game. Aqua Turbo does 10 damage plus you accelerate 1 Water Energy and attach it to 1 of your Benched Water Pokemon.
Morpeko
Note that this Morpeko has the same art as the one as the Morpeko in Paradox Rift physical TCG set.
The Energizer Wheel attack requires 2 Dark Energy to deal 50 damage. You also move 2 Dark Energy from this Morpeko to 1 of your Benched Pokemon.
Haxorus
Haxorus has an attack where it is tricky to meet the Energy requirements. Frenzied Blade deals 50 base damage plus 20 more damage for each Benched Pokemon on both sides. The max damage this Haxorus can do is 170 damage (50 plus 6 times 3 = 50 + 120). Getting this max damage is not that easy as getting a Stage 2 Pokemon in play is hard enough on its own.
Calem Supporter Card
Calem is a niche Supporter card. You draw 1 card for each Mega Evolution Pokemon ex that is in play on both sides of the field.
This Calem card could serve as a third Professor' Oak's Research if you are against decks that have a lot of Mega Pokemon ex.
Mega Gengar ex
Mega Gengar ex is a bulky 210 HP Dark Stage 2 attcker. The attack is costly at 3 Dark and 1 Colourless Energy. If you do pull off the Labyrinth of Shadows attacks you deal 120 damage and you lock the opponent out of playing any Trainer cards from their hand. Trainer card lock sounds really powerful as you limit the actions your opponent can make.
Mega Charizard X ex
Mega Charizard X ex is a bulky Stage 2 Fire Pokemon. This is the final evolution of Charmander. For 3 Fire Energy, the Raging Blaze attack does 100 base damage. If this Pokemon's HP is 110 or less then this attack does 80 more damage (180 damage).
Meeting the 3 Fire Energy requirement is not that bad as you do have this Charmeleon and Flame Patch.
Empoleon
This illustration rare of Empoleon is colourful and nice.
The Emperor's Strike attack requires 2 Water Energy and 1 Colourless Energy to deal 80 base damage. If your opponent's Active Pokemon has more remaining HP that this Pokemon, then this attack does 60 more damage (140 max damage).
I am not a fan of Stage 2 attackers with attacks of 3 Energy or more. There is too much setup required.
Dragonair
Dragonair's Sky's Blessing attack requires one Energy for its attack. This attack does not deal damage but you accelerate 1 Water and 1 Lightning Energy from your Energy Zone and attach them to this Dragonair.
Dragonair has good Energy acceleration provided that it survives. Eighty HP is not a lot.
