Hi there. This is a short Pokemon TCG news type of post. I cover the announcement of the Prize Pack Series Seven cards featuring the Eevee cards and McDonald's Japan Pokemon cards.
I will be posting a lot of Pokemon content. There is a lot of news as of late. Sorry if it's too much. Read what you want.
Prize Pack Series Seven Cards For Players Starting August 2025
As of August 14, 2025, Pokemon Prize Pack Series Seven packs are available for physical TCG players at local card shops. Note that each game store allocates prizes with these packs differently. Some tournament require you to have a good tournament record while some local tournaments do a pack per win or some give these out when you pay your tournament entry fee.
Around 6 months a new set of cards are selected for the new Prize Pack Series. Series Six covered cards from Shrouded Fable, Twilight Masquerade and Stellar Crown. The new Prize Pack Series Sevens contains cards from the sets Surging Sparks, Prismatic Evolutions and Journey Together.

There will be more ways to get Pikachu ex, Eevee ex, Umbreon ex, Flareon ex and other Eeveelution cards is nice for those play a bit. An increase in supply should reduce prices in theory. But you never know with all these scalpers and degens since November 2024.
McDonald's Japan Cards In Happy Meals
From August 9 to 11, 2025, McDonald's Japan customers who purchase a Happy Meal get a new Pikachu promo plus one of five promo cards. The five promo card choices are:
- Sprigatito
- Fuecoco
- Quaxly
- Ralts
- Riolu
These are the 3 Paldea Starter Pokemon plus the Ralts & Riolu Basic Pokemon from the upcoming Mega Evolutions set.
There is something cute about Pikachu wanting a burger. Top tier marketing from McDonald's Japan I guess. I just hope that Pikachu does not get fat or something.
