A lot of my friends here know or sorta have an idea, I've been a DrugWars addict for some time now. Ever since the game released (over a year ago) on Steem, I was nostalgic. It brought up memories of playing back in HS on my Ti-89 calculator or ms-dos. I haven't stopped playing in my free-time ever since (a lot more now due to curfews) and usually check the game by lunch time.
I know many people don't like this game, or felt burnt back in 2019 but to me It's not the rewards, it's more of the game play. Which at first seemed as simple as showing up each day but eventually I found strategies. Many of them. Enough to keep a top 60 rank while not relying on 1 million units.
But that was always the issue, every now and then some gang boss would attack while I was AFK. Some would try and argue if you mention the fact that it's 1,000:1 each time. After a while, I figured out how to beat them at their own game. Even once taking on the top gang (CZE) single handedly until they eased off.
DrugWars is perhaps the only game I play that's still connected to Steem. I'm torn. I want to keep playing, but I don't want to support Steem. In the DW Discord I've seen people asking

There's a new city, Los Angeles. A new beginning, albeit still on Steem (I checked, the announcement post wasn't even posted on HIVE kmt) it's a way to test skills learned over a year of gameplay. So, naturally... I took advantage and renamed my account to something Hive'y (HiveWhat.com 🙂) and added the logo. Then proceeded to play 6hrs straight to rank #1:

Within a few hours I'll create the first gang, HIVEWHAT 😉and punish Steemitans relentlessly. To join the gang, you must be an active Hive user and link up in the HIVE WHAT ❓ Discord. I'll post again soon once it's up.
