¡Hola amigos gamers! En el día de hoy les traigo un juego que me encantaba (y todavía lo hace) de la Playstation 1. Les estoy hablando de Bugs Bunny & Taz: La espiral del tiempo.
Hello fellow gamers! Today I bring you a game that I loved (and still do) from the Playstation 1. I'm talking about Bugs Bunny & Taz: The Time Spiral.
¿De qué trata? - What is it about?
Este es un juego multijugador, aunque también lo podemos jugar de a 1. Yo lo jugaba con mi hermano o mi mamá al principio. Después se hartaron y me tocó jugar sola jajaja. Quizás en algunas partes se hacía difícil pero lograba superar los obstáculos.
This is a multiplayer game, although we can also play it one on one. I played it with my brother or my mom at the beginning. Then they got fed up and I had to play alone hahaha. Maybe in some parts it was difficult but I managed to overcome the obstacles.
En este juego de plataforma tenemos que devolverles el equilibrio a las diferentes épocas de Granwich. Por un accidente ocasionado por el Pato Lucas, el regulador del tiempo que se encuentra en la casa de la Abuelita, una máquina que nos permite viajar en el tiempo, se rompe y sus diferentes piezas se dispersan por el mundo en diferentes épocas. Así que todo está patas para arriba y tendremos que ir juntando las diferentes piezas, algunas de mayor valor que otras, para ir devolviendo el equilibrio perdido.
In this platform game we have to restore balance to the different eras of Granwich. By an accident caused by Lucas Duck, the time regulator that is in the house of Granwich, a machine that allows us to travel in time, breaks and its different pieces are scattered around the world in different times. So everything is upside down and we will have to put together the different pieces, some of greater value than others, to restore the lost balance.
Las épocas en las que vamos a jugar son 4: la azteca, la vikinga, la árabe y la de Transilvania. En cada una de ellas nos vamos a ir cruzando con diferentes personajes que habrá que devolver a sus respectivas épocas y jefes que tendremos que vencer para poder seguir avanzando. Además de ir completando las diferentes misiones para ayudar a conseguir las piezas faltantes y dejar todo en orden antes de partir a la siguiente época. Estás misiones se centran en diferentes habilidades, algunas son para resolver acertijos, otras son competencias deportivas y de carreras.
There are 4 eras in which we are going to play: Aztec, Vikinga, Arab and Transylvania. In each one of them we are going to cross paths with different characters that we will have to return to their respective eras and bosses that we will have to defeat to be able to continue advancing. In addition to completing the different missions to help get the missing pieces and leave everything in order before leaving for the next era. These missions are focused on different skills, some are to solve puzzles, others are sports and racing competitions.
Cómo les dije, debemos manejar a dos personajes, el principal es Bugs Bunny y el secundario es Taz el demonio de Tasmania. Podemos jugar con cualquiera de los dos durante todo el juego, pero en casos específicos sí vamos a necesitar a uno o al otro. Bugs Bunny es más ágil y tiene mayor capacidad de movimiento que Taz, y este otro es más fuerte y rudo para usarlo contra los enemigos y mover objetos.
As I said, we have to manage two characters, the main one is Bugs Bunny and the secondary one is Taz the Tasmanian devil. We can play with either of them throughout the game, but in specific cases we will need one or the other. Bugs Bunny is more agile and has greater movement ability than Taz, and this other one is stronger and tougher to use against enemies and move objects.
En cada inicio de época nos aparece una animación de unos minutos donde vemos al Pato Lucas haciendo estragos en las diferentes épocas hasta que es perseguido por algún personaje y termina huyendo. Todas las desgracias son por culpa suya (?, ya que es muy inquieto y ambicioso.
Después se nos muestra un vistazo de la ciudad completa donde tendremos que hacer las misiones y ayudar a diferentes personajes. Estás no son muy grandes pero guardan su secreto y cada una tiene su encanto.
También contamos con el canario Piolín que nos llamara con su clásico "Aquí, ven aquí" cuando tengamos que aprender un truco nuevo y aparecerá la Abuelita para explicarnos cómo hacerlo (los botones que hay que apretar y eso).
At the beginning of each epoch there is an animation of a few minutes where we see Daffy Duck wreaking havoc in the different epochs until he is chased by some character and ends up running away. All the misfortunes are his fault (?, since he is very restless and ambitious.
Then we are shown a glimpse of the whole city where we will have to do quests and help different characters. These are not very big but they keep their secret and each one has its charm.
We also have the canary Tweety who will call us with his classic "Here, come here" when we have to learn a new trick and Grandma will appear to explain how to do it (the buttons to press and so on).
Mi opinión - My opinion
Cuando conoces el juego te das cuenta que te lo podes pasar en el día, en unas 5 o 6 horitas. Al menos a mí me suele llevar eso. Esta vez me tarde 3 fines de semana porque solo estuve jugando unas horas de noche.
When you know the game you realize that you can pass it in a day, in about 5 or 6 hours. At least it usually takes me that long. This time it took me 3 weekends because I was only playing for a few hours at night.
El juego es bastante sencillo y entretenido. Siempre me gustan los juegos del mundo de Looney Tunes. Si bien sus gráficos no son nada del otro mundo tiene lindos paisajes. El de la misión en el Valle de la Luna es uno de los más hermosos que vi en un juego de estás características. La trama de Transilvania me solía dar un poquito de miedo cuando era más chica jajaja. Ahora todo me generaba ternura y risa. Es la primera vez que lo juego de grande, me encanta ver cómo la percepción cambia, aunque me sigue pareciendo un buen juego y me dio muchísima nostalgia jugarlo. Eso sí, también lo disfruté como si hubiera sido la primera vez. Me gusta ver qué no perdí el toque.
The game is quite simple and entertaining. I always like the games from the Looney Tunes world. Even though its graphics are not great, it has nice landscapes. The one of the mission in the Valley of the Moon is one of the most beautiful I've seen in a game of these characteristics. The plot of Transylvania used to scare me a little bit when I was younger hahaha. Now everything generated me tenderness and laughter. It's the first time I play it as a grown-up, I love to see how the perception changes, although I still think it's a good game and it gave me a lot of nostalgia to play it. Of course, I also enjoyed it as if it had been the first time. I like to see that I didn't lose the touch.
Lo que me gustó
El doblaje en español es de las mejores cosas que tiene el juego, la nostalgia y la esencia de escuchar las voces de los dibujos animados. Aparte los diálogos son muy graciosos.
La animación, si bien no es de lo mejor visualmente de todos modos se disfruta. La ambientación es excelente. Les dije que el de Transilvania me daba un poco de miedo, pero la verdad que es una de mis épocas favoritas para jugar.
La musicalización y los sonidos en general.
Los acertijos y niveles en cada etapa. A veces hay que usar la cabeza y ver cómo podemos combinar a nuestros personajes para resolverlos.
What I liked
- The Spanish dubbing is one of the best things that the game has, the nostalgia and the essence of listening to the voices of the cartoons. Besides, the dialogues are very funny.
- The animation, while not the best visually, is still enjoyable. The setting is excellent. I told you that the Transylvania one scared me a bit, but the truth is that it is one of my favorite times to play.
- Musicalization and sounds in general.
- The puzzles and levels in each stage. Sometimes you have to use your head and see how we can combine our characters to solve them.
Lo que no me gustó
Se me hizo un poco corto. Me hubiera gustado que agregaran más épocas.
Los controles. Hay momentos que se hace difícil coordinar los movimientos y si no se apunta bien se puede llegar a tirar un personaje para cualquier lado jajaja.
Misiones un tanto monotonas en cada época. Algunas se vuelven repetitivas. Mis favoritas son las principales de resolver acertijos y dónde podemos aprender habilidades nuevas.
What I didn't like
- It was a little short for me. I would have liked to see more time periods added.
- The controls. There are times when it is difficult to coordinate the movements and if you don't aim well you can throw a character to any side hahaha.
- Missions somewhat monotonous in each era. Some of them become repetitive. My favorites are the main ones of solving puzzles and where we can learn new skills.
La verdad que no tengo grandes cosas que criticar porque amo este juego y lo jugaría 100 veces más. Es de esas joyitas que nos dieron y hay que saber aprovecharla. Me encantaría una remake de este título y del de Bugs Bunny Lost in Time que también jugué y me encanta. Tengo que volverlo a jugar para refrescar y quizás les traiga mi opinión también. Son juegos excelentes, que hasta el día de hoy perduran. Sería muy feliz con una Remake como hicieron con el dragón Spyro y el Crash. Otras dos grandes sagas de videojuegos de la play 1 que jugué hasta el cansancio.
The truth is that I don't have much to criticize because I love this game and I would play it 100 times more. It's one of those little jewels they gave us and you have to know how to take advantage of it. I would love a remake of this title and of Bugs Bunny Lost in Time that I also played and I love it. I have to play it again to refresh and maybe I'll bring you my opinion as well. They are excellent games, that to this day endure. I would be very happy with a Remake like they did with Spyro Dragon and Crash. Two other great video game sagas from play 1 that I played to exhaustion.
