Hello Everyone... / Hola a todos...
At some point in life, we lose the spark of inspiration either because of some personal problems, stress, or simply because of the bad vibes that the decoration of the house gives you. This is what happened with Mr. Omar Tista, a person with the soul of an artist who lost his inspiration because of the decoration of the house where he was. I had already done remodeling for this Mr. Omar, but it was cleaning for a gala exhibition of works. But this is different because my work would help him find that spark to continue creating iconic works of art. So he contacted me by mail to request my services again to give life to his wife's house.
En algún momento de la vida perdemos la chispa de la inspiración ya sea por algunos problemas personales, estrés o simplemente por la mala vibra que te da la decoración de la casa. Esto fue lo que ocurrió con el Sr Omar Tista, una persona con alma de artista que perdió la inspiración por la decoración de la casa donde estaba. Yo ya había hecho remodelaciones para este Sr Omar, pero era una limpieza para una gala de exhibición de obras. Pero esto es distinto ya que mi trabajo le ayudaría a encontrar esa chispa para seguir creando obras de arte icónicas. Así que me contacto por medio del correo para solicitar mis servicios de nuevo y así darle vida a la casa de su señora.
The house didn't have much to clean, just a few small stains and trash to pick up, the problem was how the walls and the decoration made a lot of noise and had no life at all. For example, in the main living room, there was a strange tropical style wallpaper of toucans and if you look at the rest of the decoration of the living room it does not match at all, as it is something very warm and cheerful. Mr. Omar asked for something cooler, so he asked me to change the tropical style wallpaper for an Ocean Waves wallpaper, a design that matches perfectly with the rest of the decoration and even makes a great contrast between the gray and green of all the furniture and curtains.
La casa no tenía mucho que limpiar, solo unas pequeñas manchas y recoger basura, el problema estaba en como las paredes y la decoración hacia mucho ruido y no tenía nada de vida. Por ejemplo en el salón principal había un extraño papel tapiz de tucanes con estilo tropical y si miras el resto de la decoración del salón pues no concuerdan en lo absoluto, ya que es algo muy cálido y alegre. El Sr Omar pidió algo más frio, así que me pidió que cambiara el papel tapiz de estilo tropical por uno de Olas de océano, un diseño que concuerda perfectamente con el resto de la decoración e incluso hace un gran contraste entre el gris y el verde de todos los muebles y cortinas.

Also, Mr. Omar is a big fan of plants like ferns and cactus, in this house there were more than 50 plants, and he asked me for even more in the living room and kitchen. So I bought some ferns and cactus that matched the decoration of the curtains and the dining room. Something that I did not calculate with total artistic accuracy was the colors of the pots, as some are red, yellow, blue, white, or green. Quite a carnival.
Tambien el Sr Omar es un gran fanático de las plantas como los helechos y los cactus, en esta casa había más de 50 plantas, y me pidió aún más en el salón y la cocina. Así que compre algunos helechos y cactus que hicieron juego con la decoración de las cortinas y el comedor. Algo que si no calcule con total exactitud artística fueron los colores de las macetas, ya que algunos son rojos, amarillos, azules, blancos o verdes. Todo un carnaval.
As this was a house with 3 rooms or spaces, such as the kitchen/living room, the bathroom, and the bedroom, after placing a better ambiance in the living room I went to the bedroom to change an eighties style for a more modern one. When I entered the bedroom there was again a warm feeling in the bedroom style, the walls were fuchsia and the wallpaper was intense pink and pale pink stripes, and as I guess Mr. Omar is European, he asked me to change that horrible wallpaper for a Parisian style one. Also, in the room, I bought more plants that now made a perfect symmetry with the style of the room, since the color of the pots matched the wallpaper.
Como esta era una casa con 3 habitaciones o espacios, como son la cocina/salón, el baño y el dormitorio, luego de colocar un mejor ambiente en el salón pase al dormitorio a cambiar un estilo ochentero por uno más moderno. Cuando entre al dormitorio había de nuevo una sensación cálida en el estilo del dormitorio, las paredes eran fucsia y el papel tapiz eran rayas rosadas intensas y rosadas pálidas, y como supongo que el Sr Omar es europeo, me pidió cambiar ese horrible papel tapiz por uno con estilo parisino. Tambien, en la habitación compre más plantas que ahora si hacían una simetría perfecta con el estilo de la habitación, ya que el color de las macetas concordaba con el del papel tapiz.

Lastly, I had to give the bathroom a magical touch, and although it was only to change the curtains to a brighter color, this gave a better face to this room. Mr. Omar opted for more colorful curtains with a silk-like fabric and also some cactus and ferns in the bathroom to give it the final touch of inspiration in case he ever needs it. And just like the bedroom I also did a lot of symmetry in the colors of the potted plants and the bathroom decor.
Por ultimo tenía que hacerle un toque mágico al baño, y aunque era únicamente cambiar las cortinas a un color más vivo, esto sí que le dio una mejor cara a este cuarto. El Sr Omar opto por unas cortinas más coloridas con un tipo de tela parecida a la seda y tambien algunos cactus y helechos en el baño para darle el toque final de inspiración en tal caso de que en algún momento lo necesite. Y al igual que el dormitorio tambien hice mucha simetría en los colores de las macetas de las plantas y el decorado del baño.
Anyway, sometimes you can't fully understand how artists are inspired. But I'm glad to have helped Mr. Omar in his process to recover the spark that inspires him, he needed help as he was confused about the colors of how the house was decorated, that's why it's always better to call the professionals LOL. En fin, algunas veces uno no puede entender completamente como se inspiran los artistas. Pero me alegro haber ayudado al Sr Omar en su proceso por recuperar la chispa que lo inspira, el necesitaba ayuda ya que tenía una confusión total en cuanto a los colores de cómo fue decorada la casa, por eso siempre es mejor llamar a los profesionales LOL.
