Sega Rally Revo es un juego del género de las carreras offroad, desarrollado por Sega Racing Studio para PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows y Bugbear Entertainment para PlayStation Portable, distribuido en el mercado el 27 de septiembre de 2007. Dicho juego y como su nombre lo indica es de rally, siendo esta una categoría del automovilismo mundial muy famosa e interesante. Este juego es arcade por lo cual es muy fácil de jugar por cualquier usuario, debido a que no posee mucho dificultad en el juego e incluso puede ganar carreras o campeonatos fácilmente, es por ello que nunca he sido fans de los juegos de carreras arcades, sin embargos estos no dejan de ser interesantes para probarlos ya que muchos no llegamos a ser tan talentosos en este tipos de videojuegos. Para esta revisión de este juego, me basare fundamentalmente en la jugabilidad, físicas, modos de juegos, gráficas, sonidos y cualquier otra información que sea necesario para describir y argumentar el análisis.
Sega Rally Revo is a game of the off-road racing genre, developed by Sega Racing Studio for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows and Bugbear Entertainment for PlayStation Portable, released on September 27, 2007. This game, as its name indicates, is a rally game, being this a very famous and interesting category of the world's motoring. This game is arcade so it is very easy to play by any user, because it does not have much difficulty in the game and even can win races or championships easily, that's why I have never been a fan of arcade racing games, however these do not cease to be interesting to try as many do not get to be so talented in this type of games. For this review of this game, I'll rely mainly on the gameplay, physics, game modes, graphics, sounds and any other information that is necessary to describe and argue the analysis.
Off-road es la actividad de conducir o conducir un vehículo en caminos o pistas sin pavimentar , hechos de materiales como arena, grava, lechos de ríos, barro, nieve, rocas y otros terrenos naturales. Tipos de intensidad de todoterreno, desde viajes de ocio con vehículos no modificados hasta competiciones con vehículos personalizados y conductores profesionales. Los todoterrenos han recibido críticas por el daño ambiental causado por sus vehículos. También ha habido amplios debates sobre el papel del gobierno en la regulación del deporte, incluido un caso de la Corte Suprema presentado contra la Oficina de Administración de Tierras.
Off-road is the activity of driving or riding a vehicle on unsurfaced roads or tracks, made of materials such as sand, gravel, riverbeds, mud, snow, rocks, and other natural terrain. Types of off-roading range in intensity, from leisure drives with unmodified vehicles to competitions with customized vehicles and professional drivers. Off-roaders have been met with criticism for the environmental damage caused by their vehicles. There have also been extensive debates over the role of government in regulating the sport, including a Supreme Court case brought against the Bureau of Land Management.
En cuanto a la jugabilidad, Sega Rally Revo tenemos varios modos de juegos las cuales son Carrera rápida, Contrarreloj, Campeonato. El modo carrera rápida es aquella en la cual podemos seleccionar el auto de nuestra preferencia, pista y también configurar las diferentes opciones de juegos, como los son la dificultad en el manejo, es decir, activar o desactivar las ayudas disponibles, que como es un juego arcade son bastante; la cantidad de IA en el juego, entre otras cosas. Las ayudas disponibles en Sega Rally Revo son de dirección, control de tracción que en un juego de rally es muy importante debido a la dificultad de siempre ir derrapando el auto, frenado automático, caja de cambio, etc. El modo contrarreloj es tal cual y como los modos explicados anteriormente en mis publicaciones donde el jugador debe tratar de mejorar el tiempo record de trazado en el cual se está compitiendo y lo mejor de este modo es que se pueden compartir los tiempos con nuestros contactos subiéndolos a las bases de datos on-line, lo que es bastante interesante para los usuario. El modo campeonato viene siendo e segundo modo que a mi criterio es el más importante, porque en este se debe recorrer cada una de las localizaciones o circuitos donde se llevan a cabo las competiciones, donde el jugador debe tratar de acumular la mayor cantidad de puntos posibles para alzarse con el campeonato de pilotos del juego y así obtener una mayor reputación en el mismo.
Regarding the gameplay, Sega Rally Revo has several game modes which are Fast Race, Time Trial, Championship. The fast race mode is one in which we can select the car of our preference, track and also set the different options of games, such as the difficulty in handling, ie, enable or disable the available aids, which as an arcade game are quite, the amount of AI in the game, among other things. The aids available in Sega Rally Revo are steering, traction control that in a rally game is very important due to the difficulty of always skidding the car, automatic braking, gearbox, etc. The time trial mode is just like the modes explained above in my publications where the player must try to improve the record time of the track in which he is competing and the best of this mode is that you can share the times with our contacts by uploading them to the online databases, which is quite interesting for users. The championship mode is the second most important mode in my opinion, because in this mode you must go through each of the locations or circuits where competitions are held, where the player must try to accumulate as many points as possible to win the drivers' championship of the game and thus get a greater reputation in it.
El tan esperado modo multijugador no es tan interesante como los actuales ya que no se puede jugar en línea sino que se compite directamente y locamente en pantalla dividida, sin embargo este modo es el más importante de este juego, en el que se puede jugar contra compañeros de equipo o un rival que se encuentra lado a lado. En fin este juego es de hace 13 años por lo cual no se le pude mucho a esta clase de juegos, pero lo que me decepciona es que muchos de los juegos que incluso son más antiguos tiene mejor este modo. Como les mencione anteriormente, Sega Rally Revo se puede compartir datos con los amigos o cualquier persona del mundo en una base online, siendo esto lo mejor que puede tener este juego, ya que así podemos obtener más reputación a pesar de que este videojuego es de manejo muy sencillo, pero a mejor técnica de conducción mejor se podrá batir los tiempos de los contrincante.
The long-awaited multiplayer mode is not as interesting as the current ones since you can't play online but compete directly and madly in split screen, however this mode is the most important one in this game, in which you can play against teammates or a rival who is side by side. Anyway, this game is 13 years old so I couldn't play this kind of games very much, but what disappoints me is that many of the games that are even older have this mode better. As I mentioned before, Sega Rally Revo can be shared with friends or anyone in the world in an online base, this is the best thing this game can have, because this way we can get more reputation even though this video game is very easy to use, but the better driving technique the better you can beat your opponents' times.
En el juego hay en total 34 autos disponibles que a su vez se dividen en tres series, ellas son Clase Premier, Clase Modificada, Master Class, esta última siendo la mejor ya que contiene los autos de rallys clásicos. También hay otra clases de autos disponibles, como los Rally Dakar,escaladores, buggies, entre otros. Es decir, que este juego tiene disponible una gran variedad de autos de varios tipos lo que fantástico porque así el usuario tiene la oportunidad de jugar varios y así no se le hace tedioso el juego. Además, este juego tiene disponibles donde se destaca es sitios con entorno de Alpinos, tropicales, safaris, árticos y cañones. Es decir que este juego no simula lo que es el campeonato mundial de rally (WRC), sino que se corre con reglas y paisaje tipo rally, pero incluso este juego tiene sus propias reglas, como que al comienzo del juego solo están disponibles 5 autos y las carreras se corren a 3 vueltas; es decir, que este juego es de carreras a circuitos y no a tramos como los es normalmente: En fin, a pesar de este juego tener varias falencias, por lo menos es algo nuevo con respecto a los otros juegos de este tipo.

That is, this game has available a great variety of cars of various types which is fantastic because this way the user has the opportunity to play several and so the game does not become tedious. This means that this game does not simulate the World Rally Championship (WRC), but is run with rules and rally-like landscape, but even this game has its own rules, as at the beginning of the game only 5 cars are available and the races are run to 3 laps, that is, this game is from races to circuits and not to sections as it usually is: Anyway, in spite of this game having several shortcomings, at least it's something new compared to the other games of this type.
Gráficamente el juego es correcto y más considerando la época en que fue creado el juego. El modelado de los coches es muy bonito muy parecido a los autos del 2007, además los circuitos están bien creado, pero sin embargo no todo es bueno es que carece de algunos detalles indispensables que deben tener las pistas en donde se llevan a cabo las carreras. Otras las cosas que hay que destacar de la parte gráfica es los efectos en las carreras, como el humo cuando se frena en la superficie de asfalto y las partículas de tierra que se colocan en suspensión cuando se recorren las superficies de tierra y además de que los autos parecen opacos debido a polvo lo que es muy realista. Otra cosa destacable es la paleta de colores usados para la creación y desarrollo del apartado gráfica. El juego corre a 30 fps lo que es realmente bueno y para las exigencias del sistema del juego. En fin, gráficamente se puede decir que el juego es un 8.5 en cuando a la parte visual, son más las cosas de destacar que las aspectos negativos dentro de este detalle.
Graphically the game is correct and more so considering the time when the game was created. The modeling of the cars is very nice very similar to the 2007 cars, also the circuits are well created, but nevertheless not everything is good is that it lacks some indispensable details that must have the tracks where the races take place. Other things to highlight from the graphics are the effects on the races, like the smoke when you brake on the asphalt surface and the dirt particles that are placed in suspension when you run over the dirt surfaces and also the fact that the cars look opaque due to dust which is very realistic. Another highlight is the color palette used for the creation and development of the graphic section. The game runs at 30 fps which is really good and for the demands of the game system. In short, graphically you can say that the game is an 8.5 in terms of visual, there are more things to highlight than the negative aspects within this detail.
El sonido de Sega Rally Revo es asombroso es que cuenta con excelente efecto de sonido de los motores, del derrapado de los autos a la hora de tomar las curvas, el sonido de las partículas de los autos al salir cuando el mismo choca, entre otras. Lo más importante y que es muy necesario en lo que es los rallies es el sonido del copiloto lo cual es de suma importante porque es la única información en que cuenta el piloto en las carreras, como a qué velocidad deben tomar las curvas, cuando deben frenar o no, cuando deben ir a fondo, cuando adelantara no a un coche, los tiempos de vueltas, las condiciones de coche y otras informaciones que se debe considerar a la hora de los eventos. La banda musical de los menús son bastantes entretenidos.
The sound of Sega Rally Revo is amazing because it has excellent sound effects of the engines, the cars skidding when taking the curves, the sound of the particles of the cars when leaving when it crashes, among others. The most important and necessary thing in rallies is the sound of the co-pilot which is extremely important because it is the only information the driver has in races, such as how fast they should take the curves, when they should brake or not, when they should go flat out, when they should overtake a car, lap times, car conditions and other information that should be considered at the time of the events. The menu's soundtrack is quite entertaining.

En conclusión, Sega Rally Revo es un buen juego de género de las carreras offroad. El mismo posee los modos de juegos tradicionales, destacándose el modo campeonato y multijugador, pero este último la falta es jugar en línea contra otras personas de cualquier parte del mundo, ya que esta solo el modo pantalla dividida en contra de otro jugadores, debido que el número de participantes es limitados. También es innovador ya que las carreras son a vueltas y no a recorridos de tramos como los juegos normales de rallies, están disponibles un buen número de autos de las mejores series de autos de rally del mundo. Gráficamente el juego está bien, principalmente en el modelado de los autos y los efectos visuales, con algunas falencias en detalles en los circuitos. El sonido es genial con efectos del sonido de los motores y la presencia del sonido del copiloto que nos brindan informaciones vitales. Finalmente luego de probar este juego he quedado bastante complacido es que hay que recordar que este juego es del 2007 y actualmente hay juegos que son mejores en muchos aspectos, pero este sirve para que tanto los niños o cualquier personas que los gusten los juegos y en especial de las carreras se diviertan.
In conclusion, Sega Rally Revo is a good off-road racing genre game. It has the traditional game modes, highlighting the championship mode and multiplayer, but the latter lack is to play online against other people anywhere in the world, as this only the split screen mode against other players, because the number of participants is limited. It's also innovative since the races are to laps and not to sections like the normal rally games, a good number of cars from the best rally car series in the world are available. Graphically the game is fine, mainly in the modeling of the cars and the visual effects, with some shortcomings in details on the circuits. The sound is great with sound effects of the engines and the presence of the sound of the co-driver that give us vital information. Finally after trying this game I have been quite pleased is that we must remember that this game is from 2007 and currently there are games that are better in many ways, but this serves to both children or anyone who likes games and especially racing have fun.
Por todo lo mencionado anteriormente es que le doy un 8.5 de 10 a Sega Rally Revo. Y si les gusta los simuladores de carreras, les recomiendo ampliamente a la comunidad de juego de HIVE que lo prueben y nos den su opinión.
