Mega Man 9 developed by Capcom is back more active than ever, and that's because it has returned with the gameplay, graphics, atmosphere, and sound of millennia ago! This is a pleasant surprise because we really expected a change in the game, but no. Capcom wants to keep its characteristic gameplay. Capcom wants to keep its characteristic gameplay, without modifying big details and leaving it completely original, in order to please all its loyal users.
As soon as the game starts, we are introduced to the story, which is still very similar to the previous ones, but it is still interesting to save the world! A dangerous band of robots is causing disturbances in the city and clearly, the fault is of the already known Dr. Light, creator of these robots, and their programmed malice. Of course Dr. Wily tries not to be involved by blaming Light, but as we progress through the game and understand his story, we will realize the dark truth. I don't want to make Spoiler but if you have already played the game, we all know who the culprit is and why he is. Since Mega Man has not wanted to change its story at all.
Recall that we have a selection mode, in which we can choose at will one of the main eight phases of the game, each being dominated by its boss robot. And of course, we will have different difficulties in each race of robot, (so to speak) and being one more difficult than others and we must also take into account that we have to follow a specific order since each boss will give us a weapon needed to help us kill the next and so on. Something that I realized when playing this title, is that Mega Man does not tell you or give you recommendations when playing, everything is based on learning from mistakes, is trial and error.
The gameplay of Mega Man is still simple and we must also use the strategy and play with the platforms in order to kill the rivals that cross us, and is that Mega Man 9 is one of the most difficult of his saga and I compare it quite a lot with Mega Man 1 and maybe Mega Man 2 as we do not have sliding or mega buster charge, making this new Mega Man 9 even more classic and original, knowing Capcom, they like to play with the difficulty of our enemies, thus having some very complicated enemies to beat and that without a doubt, are still unbearable. Capcom distributes them around the map in an exact position and becoming incredibly annoying, making us fall most of the time into the void.
We also have jumps and a kind of really extreme parkour, I remember spending hours trying to complete a level of Mega Man 9, in which we had to jump on a moving platform, and at the base we expected an enemy shooting us like crazy until we fall repeatedly, the development of the levels may remind us a little to their first sagas, but we also have new interesting details and never seen in the series.
The complexity of Mega Man 9 lies in its stressful gameplay and is that we have two simple lives and an extra one that maybe we can get, the enemies really complicated to beat. When it comes to dying we must start from the beginning or from some checkpoint in the middle of the level. What I hated about this game is that when we ran out of lives, we always started from the beginning, having to pass the whole level again and bothering you even more. Always at the time of reaching the final boss, we will have a quite complicated start, in my personal experience I lost many games because of this reason not knowing how to attack him.
I in my first stage lasted about 1 hour and a half to defeat the boss.
Something quite good about Mega Man 9 is that we will have the help of the dog Rush, who will help us to fly and jump in very difficult situations. We also have the Roll character store, thanks to which we can buy a variety of objects, the most important being the lives to play. The money used is "screws" and we will find them in the middle of any level we play. If we talk about control when playing Mega Man 9, it is something super simple, we only have the typical movement buttons and two simple buttons, one to shoot and one to jump. Capcom still maintains its original essence. And if we still want to relive the old days, we can use the Wii Remote, since it is more similar to the old one.
Keeping the essence is the key to success
And is that graphically Capcom has decided not to make major changes in how much to the graphics, as it is what really characterizes this type of retro video games, the changes made are very insignificant, and despite being a game of the 80s, is what keeps alive all the faithful users of that era, Mega Man 9 has a very colorful graphics and that certainly characterize the game in its greatest splendor, that makes us remember many old times that certainly with this new title, we seek to revive. Also, something that we loved at all costs, is the screen flicker option, something very characteristic of the old consoles NES, Capcom has focused on every little detail that makes this installment a success.
And if we talk about the environments, Capcom has focused very well on keeping the game with the vibe of years ago, and with its details, colors, shapes, and even sounds! That's right, we have an incredible soundtrack totally in line with the years of the game, which means we'll definitely be in the '80s! Mega Man 9 has all those details that make it a totally perfect retro game, and no doubt we will love this saga, its story, catchy sounds, good essence and is the perfect title for fans of this series, if you have not played Mega Man in your life, you will also like it. But you should be aware of how complicated the game can be if on the other hand you have never played Mega Man and you like retro action games, you are in the right title! Anyway, Mega Man 9 is a marvel, enjoy it.

¿Quién no conoce a Mega Man? un superhéroe robótico realmente conocido por la vieja escuela de los videojuegos, ha marcado una absoluta era con su adictiva saga, conozcamos la penúltima versión de Mega Man.
Más de lo mismo, pero sigue siendo muy adictivo
Nuestro robótico amigo de color azul, vuelve para salvarnos a todos! sobretodo a sus fans, a los que les hará muy feliz de volver a verlo. Mega Man 9 desarrollado por Capcom vuelve más activo que nunca, y eso se debe a que ha vuelto con la jugabilidad, gráficos, ambientación y sonido de hace milenios! Siendo esto una grata sorpresa porque realmente esperabamos un cambio en el juego, pero no. Capcom quiere seguir manteniendo su característica forma de juego, sin modificar grandes detalles y dejándolo completamente original, para así complacer a todos sus usuarios fieles.
Apenas al comenzar el juego nos dan a conocer esta historia, que bien sigue siendo muy parecida a las anteriores, no deja de ser interesante salvar al mundo! Una peligrosa banda de robots están causando disturbios en la ciudad y claramente la culpa es del ya conocido Dr. Light, creador de estos robots y de su malicia programada. Claro está el Dr. Wily intenta no estar involucrado culpando a Light, pero conforme vayamos avanzando en el juego y entendamos su historia, nos daremos cuenta de la oscura verdad. No quiero hacer Spoiler pero si ya han jugado el juego, todos sabemos quién es el culpable y por qué lo es. Ya que Mega Man no ha querido modificar para nada su historia.
Recordemos que tenemos un modo de selección, en la cuál podemos elegir a placer una de las principales ocho fases del juego, siendo cada una dominada por su robot jefe. Y claro está, tendremos diferentes dificultades en cada raza de robot, (por decirlo de alguna manera) y siendo una más díficil que otras y también debemos tener en cuenta que tenemos que seguir un órden específico, ya que cada jefe nos dará un arma necesaria para poder ayudarnos a asesinar al siguiente y así suscesivamente. Algo que me dí cuenta a la hora de jugar este título, es que Mega Man no te dice ni te da recomendaciones a la hora de jugar, todo se basa aprender de los errores, es decir probar y error.
La jugabilidad de Mega Man sigue siendo sencilla y también debemos usar la estrategia y jugar con las plataformas para así poder asesinar a los rivales que se nos atraviesen, Y es que Mega Man 9 es uno de los más difíciles de su saga y lo comparo bastante con Mega Man 1 y tal vez el Mega Man 2 ya que no contamos con dislizamiento ni la carga mega buster, haciéndo aún más clásico y original a este nuevo Mega Man 9, conociéndo a Capcom, les gusta jugar con la dificultad de nuestros enemigos, contando así con unos enemigos muy complicados de batir y que sin duda, siguen siendo insoportables. Capcom los distribuye por el mapa en una posición exacta y llegando a ser increíblemente molesta, haciéndonos caer la mayoría de las veces hacía el vacío.
También contamos con saltos y una especie de parkour verdaderamente extremo, recuerdo haber pasado horas en intentar completar un nivel de Mega Man 9, en el cuál debíamos saltar por una plataforma movediza, y en la base nos esperaba un enemigo disparándonos como locos hasta hacernos caer repetidas veces, el desarrollo de los niveles tal vez nos recuerde un poco a sus primeras sagas, pero también contamos con nuevos detalles interesantes y nunca vistos en la saga.
La complejidad de Mega Man 9 recae en su estresante forma de juego, y es que contamos con dos simples vidas y una extra que tal vez podamos conseguir, los enemigos realmente complicados de batir. A la hora de morir debemos empezar desde el principio o desde algún punto de control a mitad del nivel. Lo que odiaba de este juego es que al quedarnos sin vidas, siempre empezabamos desde el principio, teniendo que pasar todo el nivel otra vez y molestándote aún más. Siempre a la hora de llegar al jefe final, tendremos un comienzo bastante complicado, en mi experiencia personal perdía muchos juegos a causa de este motivo no saber cómo atacarlo.
Yo en mi primera fase duré alrededor de 1 hora y media en derrotar al jefe.
Algo bastante bueno de Mega Man 9 es que contaremos con la ayuda de el perro Rush, que nos ayudará tanto a volar cómo a saltar en situaciones muy difíciles. También contamos con la tienda del personaje Roll, gracias a el podremos comprar diferente variedad de objetos, siendo el más importante las vidas para jugar. El dinero usado son "tornillos" y los encontraremos en medio de cualquier nivel que juguemos. Si hablamos de control a la hora de jugar Mega Man 9, es algo super sencillo, solo contamos con las típicos botones de movimiento y dos simples botones, uno para disparar y otro para saltar. Aún Capcom mantiene su esencia original. Y sí aún queremos revivir los viejos tiempos, podemos utilizar el mando de Wii, ya que es más parecido al antiguo.
Mantener la esencia es la clave del éxito
Y es que gráficamente Capcom ha decidido no hacer grandes cambios en cuánto a los gráficos, ya que es lo que realmente caracteriza este tipo de videojuegos retro, los cambios realizados son muy insignificativos, y a pesar de ser un juego de los años 80, es lo que mantiene vivo a todos los fieles usuarios de esa época, Mega Man 9 cuenta con unos gráficos muy coloridos y que sin duda caracterizan al juego en su mayor esplendor, eso nos hace recordar muchos viejos tiempos que sin duda con este nuevo título, buscamos revivir. También algo que nos encantaba a toda costa, es la opción de parpádeo de pantalla, algo muy característico de las viejas consolas NES, Capcom se ha centrado en cualquier pequeño detalle que haga a esta entrega un éxito.
Y si hablamos de los entornos, Capcom se ha centrado muy bien en mantener al juego con la vibra de hace años, y con sus detalles, colores, formas y hasta sonidos! Correcto, contamos con una increíble banda sonora totalmente acorde a los años del juego, eso quiere decir que sin duda estaremos en los años 80! Mega Man 9 cuenta con todos esos detalles que lo hacen un juego retro totalmente perfecto, y sin duda nos encantará esta saga, su historia, sonidos pegajozos, buena esencia y es el título perfecto para los seguidores de esta serie, sí no has jugado Mega Man en tu vida, también te gustará. Pero debes estar consciente de lo complicado que puede llegar a ser el juego, si por lo contrario nunca has jugado Mega Man y te gustan los juegos retro de acción, estás en el título correcto! De todas formas Mega Man 9 es una maravilla, disfrútenlo.
