Squirtle, Charmander o Bulbasaur, una de las elecciones que todo entrenador de Pokémon debe hacer al iniciar su aventura en la primera generación, un debate que ha permanecido por muchos años en esa industria, sin embargo, hay personas que se han dedicado a estudiar todos los aspectos entre estos tres Pokémon, con la finalidad de establecer cuál de ellos te permite pasar el videojuego de una forma sencilla, si eres de los que tienes esa duda aquí encontrarás la respuesta.

Squirtle, Charmander or Bulbasaur, one of the choices that every Pokémon trainer must make when starting his adventure in the first generation, a debate that has remained for many years in that industry, however, there are people who have been dedicated to study all aspects between these three Pokémon, in order to establish which of them allows you to pass the video game in a simple way, if you are one of those who have that doubt here you will find the answer.

Para empezar, debemos saber que dependiendo de nuestra elección pasaremos el juego en modo fácil, medio o difícil en ciertas batallas, aunque al final podemos armar un equipo muy fuerte con el cual podemos acabar fácilmente con nuestros rivales (ya con Alakazam eliminas a todos), pero siempre nuestra primera elección definirá de una manera más eficaz el resultado final en los enfrentamientos.

Para poder saber cuál es el mejor Pokémon inicial de la primera generación simplemente vamos a evaluar las habilidades y cuáles son los gimnasios en donde dicho monstruo tendrá ventaja, el primero que vamos a nombrar es el favorito de muchos, Charmander, el Pokémon de tipo fuego el cual tiene como última evolución al temible Charizard.

In order to know which is the best initial Pokémon of the first generation we will simply evaluate the abilities and which are the gyms where this monster will have an advantage, the first one we are going to name is the favorite of many, Charmander, the fire type Pokémon which has as its last evolution the fearsome Charizard.

Charmander viene siendo el modo difícil, debido a que es pésimo en 4 de los 8 gimnasios, en otros 3 es regular y solo 1 es super efectivo, el cual debes suponer que se trata del gimnasio donde existen Pokémon del tipo planta. Con esto no se concluye que Charmander es un terrible Pokémon, simplemente hará que nuestras batallas sean un poco más complicadas, aunque su última evolución nos permite usar ciertas habilidades del tipo Dragón, algo que puede darnos ciertas ventajas en batallas específicas.

Charmander is the difficult mode, because it is lousy in 4 of the 8 gyms, in 3 others it is regular and only 1 is super effective, which you must assume is the gym where there are plant type Pokémon. This does not mean that Charmander is a terrible Pokémon, it will simply make our battles a little more complicated, although its last evolution allows us to use certain Dragon-type abilities, something that can give us certain advantages in specific battles.

Luego tenemos a Squirtle, el Pokémon tipo agua que tiene como última evolución a Blastoise. Esta criatura viene siendo el modo normal en cuanto se refiere a dificultad, ya que nos permite eliminar de una manera muy sencilla a los primeros líderes de los gimnasios, algo muy útil debido al escalado de nivel que tenemos con cada una de esas batallas, sin embargo, a nivel competitivo su última evolución tiene movimientos muy lentos, ocasionando que en la mayoría de las veces recibiéramos mucho daño antes de poder atacar.

Then we have Squirtle, the water-type Pokémon that has Blastoise as its last evolution. This creature is the normal mode in terms of difficulty, since it allows us to eliminate the first leaders of the gyms in a very simple way, something very useful due to the level scaling we have with each of these battles, however, at a competitive level its last evolution has very slow movements, causing us to receive a lot of damage most of the time before being able to attack.

Por último, tenemos a Bulbasaur, un Pokémon de tipo planta el cual tiene como última evolución a Venusaur. A pesar de que su apariencia nos puede engañar, este Pokémon hará que nuestra aventura sea muy fácil, debido a su versatilidad de las habilidades que va obteniendo a medida que sube de nivel, además es demasiado débil en uno de los 8 gimnasios, el de tipo fuego específicamente.

Finally, we have Bulbasaur, a plant-type Pokémon whose last evolution is Venusaur. Although its appearance can deceive us, this Pokémon will make our adventure very easy, due to its versatility of the skills it obtains as it levels up, it is also too weak in one of the 8 gyms, specifically the fire type.

Además, su última evolución es una de las que más vida nos ofrece, convirtiéndolo en un excelente tanque, también posee habilidades que le ayudan a regenerar la vida (Síntesis), y un ataque muy devastador llamado Rayo Solar. Cabe destacar que desde cierto nivel tiene la capacidad de usar habilidades tipo veneno algo muy efectivo en combates de larga duración.

In addition, its last evolution is one of the ones that offers us more life, making it an excellent tank, it also has skills that help it regenerate life (Synthesis), and a very devastating attack called Solar Ray. It is worth mentioning that from a certain level it has the ability to use poison-like abilities, something very effective in long-lasting combats.

Indistintamente del Pokémon que elijas en esta primera aventura podrás terminar el juego sin ningún problema, ambos tienen sus ventajas y desventajas, ya esto es del gusto de cada jugador, pero es bueno saber con cuál de los tres podemos culminar la primera generación de la forma más fácil y sencilla, más que todo para aquellos jugadores que desean adentrarse por primera vez en este fantástico universo.
