Hello good people of hive. It's your favorite hive gamer, here to regale you with his adventure on Astral war's exploration mode once again! I finally went about challenging hard mode bosses, and am here to share my experience with Veridia.
Bruin the bloodthirsty was actually the first, but he was laughably easy and nothing to write home about. I believe even hard mode bosses have hierarchy, and veridia definitely is on a higher league.
Proceeded to the challenge and imagine my surprise when I saw a bear waiting for me! Normally, reinforcement is the condition related to starting with a mech, so I wasn't prepared for that as it wasn't stated, and used a deck not optimized for it. I knew I was in trouble even further when I saw my starting hand.
What can I do but play? At least the world will know I didn't go down without a fight!!
I probably should've quit while I still had some dignity, but as they say, hindsight is 20/20. Anyway, I was given the thrashing of a lifetime, without even given a chance to resist.
No surprises here. I swallowed the bitter defeat and went for a rematch. My Mom didn't raise a quitter!!
This time, I went for a deck optimized for tackling the reinforcement condition, ready to humiliate my wicked adversary in kind.
I even started with a relatively good hand and took out the cheating bear immediately!
Halfway in, things were beginning to look good.
At this point, I had begun to turn the situation around.. I was set to win!! I knew things might go wrong with the wicked EMP-eror on the field, but I didn't lose faith!
Only to have my field and hand cleared at once by the combination of the vile EMP-eror and filthy clone!!😠The rest they say, is history.
Good riddance to Veridia.. I'm going back to my easy mode stages!
