One thing I really agree with here is that strong art direction usually matters more than raw graphical power. Some games stay memorable for years not because they are technically realistic, but because the visual style and atmosphere feel consistent and carefully designed. I started paying more attention to that while experimenting with a small personal project of my own. At some point I realized that environments and worldbuilding play a huge role in how players emotionally connect with a game, so I became curious about how professional studios handle 3D production pipelines. While researching different approaches to 3D environment creation, I decided to experiment with a professional workflow myself. What surprised me most is that the process felt much more collaborative than expected — there were several stages involving discussions, draft reviews, revisions, and polishing to make sure the final assets matched the intended atmosphere.
