Pokémon Ultra Sol y Ultra Luna son las revisiones o versiones mejoradas de los juegos Sol y Luna. Este juego nos transporta a la región Alola, un sitio similar a Hawái, Estados Unidos. Sinceramente este juego me encantó por los enormes cambios que presenta. Gráficamente es impresionante en comparación con Pokémon X&Y, como su historia.
Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are the improved versions of the Sun and Moon games. This game transports us to Alola region, a place similar to Hawaii, United States. I sincerely loved this game because of the huge changes it presents. Graphically it is impressive in comparison with Pokémon X&Y, as its story.
The atmosphere makes us feel like we are at the beach, full of palm trees and lots of sun. We start the adventure with the dream of being the champion of Alola, but first you need to get an initial Pokémon. The following options are available:
-Rowlet(verde): Un buho pequeño y muy perezoso, es del tipo planta. Pero su última evolución Decidueye es muy bueno, tiene la combinación de ser planta- fantasma, puede aprender Brave Bird, Leaf Blade y Spirit Shackle. Este fue el Pokémon que escogí en mi viaje.
-Popplio(azul), una foca del tipo agua y su última evolución Primarina es agua-hada, personalmente este es el que menos me gusta debido a que sus estadísticas son malas, además los ataques hadas no son variados.
-Litten(rojo): Un gatito del tipo fuego y su última evolución Incineroar es del tipo fuego-siniestro, tiene de ataque diferencial Darkest Lariat, el cual consiste en lanzar bolas de llamas oscuras que causan buen daño al oponente.
-Rowlet(green): A small and very lazy owl, it is plant type. But its last evolution Decidueye is very good, it has the combination of being plant - ghost, it can learn Brave Bird, Leaf Blade and Spirit Shackle. This was the Pokémon I chose on my trip.
-Popplio(blue), a water-type seal and its last evolution Primarina is water-fairy, personally this is the one I like the least because its base stats are bad, besides the fairy attacks are not varied.
-Litten(red): it is a cat, fire type and its last evolution Incineroar is fire-dark type, it has a exclusive attack known as Darkest Lariat, which consists of throwing balls of dark flames that cause good damage to the opponent.
En anteriores juegos estábamos acostumbrados a luchar contra los lideres de gimnasios, pero en Ultra Sol, ahora es diferente: las peleas son contra los capitanes insulares(7), es decir, son aquellos encargados de asignarnos un desafío: por ejemplo, luchar contra 2 Rattatas salvajes, una vez derrotados subiremos al final del bosque para luchar contra el Pokémon Totem, en este caso Raticate, que es la forma final de Rattata. Ahora bien, un Pokémon Totem, tiene un tamaño mucho más grande que un Pokémon normal, suelen tener una barra de HP más amplia y un ataque superior al promedio de su especie.
In previous games we were used to fight against gym leaders, but in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, now it is different: the fights are against the island captains(7), they are in charge of assigning us a challenge: for example, fight against 2 wild Rattatas, once we defeated them, we will go up to the end of the forest to fight against the Totem Pokémon, in this case Raticate, which is the final form of Rattata. However, a Totem Pokémon, has a much larger size than a normal Pokémon, usually have a more HP bar and and a better attack.
Los Pokémon Totem, tienen la capacidad de llamar a sus compañeros, bajo mi punto de vista es un poco injusto porque las batallas pueden convertirse en 1vs3. Aunque también es genial que le pongan dificultad al juego y no caer en la monotonía. Hubieron algunos retos que si eran un poco complicados, debido a que los amigos del Totem le aumentaban las estadísticas y recuperaban vida, es como una especie de soporte.
Totem Pokémon has the option to call Pokémon nearby in their habitat, in my view is a little unfair because the battles could be 1vs3. Although it's also great that developers make the game more difficult and don't fall into monotony. There were some challenges that were a bit complicated, because the companions increased the Totem stats and make it recover life.
Una vez derrotado el Totem, hay que recoger el cristal Z como premio, eso seria lo equivalente a una medalla. El reto en el que más me divertí fue en el de Marowak de Alola, consiste en memorizar dos bailes y luego decir las diferencias entre el primero y el segundo.
Once the Totem has been defeated, the Z-crystal must be collected as a prize, which would be the equivalent of a medal. The challenge that I had more fun was in the Marowaks, it consists of memorizing two dances and then say the differences between the first and second.
Los malvados son conocidos como el Team Skull, una organización cuyo objetivo es dominar y robar los Pokémones de Alola. Su vestimenta se asemeja a los piratas. Su jefe es Guzmán, cuenta con un equipo fuerte, destacando a Golisopod.
The evil ones are known as the Team Skull, an organization whose goal is to dominate and steal Alola's Pokémon. Their clothes look like pirates. Their boss is Guzman, he has a strong team, highlighting Golisopod.
Anécdota: cuando comencé a jugar esta generación, realmente no conocía a los nuevos Pokémon que se agregaron al Pokedex, por ende algunas veces confundía las criaturas por su tipo. Golisopod es el mejor ejemplo de esa situación, se puede apreciar como es un insecto gigante, por deducción asumí que era del tipo bicho, entonces usé un ataque de fuego, pero para mi sorpresa es del tipo agua también.
Anecdote: When I started playing this generation, I didn't really know the new Pokémon that were added to the Pokedex, so I sometimes confused the creatures by their type. Golisopod is the best example of that situation, you can see how it is a giant insect, by deduction I assumed that it was of the bug type, so I used a fire attack, but to my surprise it is also of the water type.
En esta generación tenemos la opción de usar los cristales Z, durante el combate. Nuestro personaje tiene una pulsera con la capacidad de introducir esos cristales. Existen variedades de acuerdo al tipo, por ejemplo Cristal Z de fuego, agua o trueno,etc. Del mismo modo hay exclusivos solo usables para una cantidad selecta de Pokémon. Una vez entendido, procedemos en la batalla a utilizar el ataque Z(solo se puede usar una vez). Estos se equipan a los Pokémon antes del combate. Lo más interesante es que hay ataques Z que pueden llegar a tener más de 150 de potencia(una completa locura).
In this generation we have the option to use the Z crystals, during combat. Our character has a bracelet with the ability to insert those crystals. There are varieties according to the type, for example Z Crystal of fire, water or thunder, etc. Likewise there are exclusive ones only usable for a selected amount of Pokémon. Once understood, we proceed in the battle to use the Z attack (can only be used once per battle). Crystal is equipped to the Pokémon before the combat. The most interesting thing is that there are Z attacks that can reach more than 150 of power (a complete madness).
En Alola, existen Pokémon conocidos como formas regionales, que solo se pueden encontrar en esa región, ya sea por su habitad o por las condiciones climáticas que las otras no tienen. El Raichu de las otras regiones es solamente eléctrico, pero si viajas a Alola ese Raichu no existe, solo el que levita(eléctrico-psíquico). Geodude de Alola me generó confusión porque literalmente parece de metal, pero es roca y eléctrico.
In Alola, there are Pokémon known as regional forms, which can only be found in that region, either because of their habitat or because of the climatic conditions that other regions do not have. The Raichu of the other regions is only electric, but if you travel to Alola that Raichu doesn't exist, only the levitating one (electric-psychic). Geodude of Alola generated me confusion because it literally looks like metal, but it is rock and electric.
Cuando hayamos ganado los 7 desafíos, podrás participar en la Liga de Alola. En este caso las batallas son contra la Elite cuatro, que pueden ser elegidos en el orden que queramos. Si los derrotas, avanzas al combate final contra tu rival por el título de campeón de Alola.
When you have won the 7 challenges, you can participate in the Alola League. In this case the battles are against the Elite Four, who can be chosen in any order you want to. If you defeat them, you will advance to the battle for the title of Alola's Champion against your rival.
El propósito Post-Liga, es el de atrapar a Pokémones legendarios. Tanto de Alola como de anteriores generaciones como: Articuno, Dialga, Reshiram, etc.
Los legendarios que más llamaron mi atención fueros los Tapus, que actúan como los guardianes de cada isla de Alola. Tienen en común que los cuatro son del tipo Hada.
The purpose of the Post-League is to catch legendary Pokémon. Both Alola and previous generations such as: Articuno, Dialga, Reshiram, etc.
The legendaries that got my attention were the Tapus, which act as the guardians of each Alola island. Tapus(4) have the fairy type in common.
Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon has a lot to offer to the player, I qualify it as a different experience, and it is in my TOP 3 of favorite games of the yellow rat franchise (Pikachu).
