When the livestream announced that there'd be more Travelers' Tales scenes, I was thinking about a number close to last update's which would take a week or two to collect. But no it was just 2 scenes and both of them were just about this new NPC.
What interested me more was Lohen's random appearances across the new Dornman Port region. A long time ago and long before the devs even came up with the Travelers' Tales, I suggested to randomly spawn one of these well known characters somewhere on the map for us to potentially encounter while we played the game. These interactions wouldn't have to be anything elaborate, just something to show us that these characters actually live in this game world and they don't just appear whenever there's a story quest to play through. Lohen's appearances have been exactly that. He'll just be sitting at a restaurant one day or he'll be training his unit. I really hope miHoYo will continue developing these rather than the Travelers' Tales which feel deliberately shoe-horned in just to give us something to do.
