Monkey Island is a video games saga developed by LucasArts. This saga is characterized by its humor and its enviroment between ships and pirates. The objectives in most of the games are to fight against the ghost pirate LeChuck and rescue the governor Elaine, who will often be kidnapped or bewitched with a spell.

Los objetivos en la mayoría de los juegos son luchar contra el pirata fantasma LeChuck y rescatar a la gobernadora Elaine, quien a menudo será secuestrada o hechizada con algún conjuro.
The first game of the saga was released in 1990, so its graphics and gameplay have changed over the time, but its essence has remained intact.

In Monkey Island we will have to solve puzzles, get objects and use them properly to advance in the story. One of the most interesting elements of the game are the duels of insults, because when facing another pirate, victory will not depend on our skill with the sword, but on the ability to respond correctly to the opponent's insults.
En Monkey Island tendremos que resolver acertijos, conseguir objetos y utilizarlos adecuadamente para avanzar en la historia. Uno de los elementos más interesantes del juego son los duelos de insultos, pues al enfrentarnos con otro pirata, la victoria no dependerá de nuestra habilidad con la espada, sino de la capacidad de responder correctamente a los insultos del adversario.

In 2010 The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge Special Edition were released. These are remakes whose graphics were improved, since the first games of the saga, maybe are not very visually attractive to the new generations.
En 2010 fueron lanzados The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition y Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge Special Edition. Estos son remakes cuyos gráficos fueron mejorados, pues al ser los primeros de la saga, estos no eran muy atractivos visualmente en su versión original.
I dare to say personally i don’t even have a favorite one, all of them are fantastic games, my score for all of them is 100/100. I’d just wish i could play a new release from this awesome game.
