Sin duda esta es una de mis consolas preferidas de todas las que he tenido, en esa lista están: el Sega Geneseis, Sega Dreamscast, el Nintendo 64 y esta de la que hoy voy a hablar un poco. Calculo que tenía como 8 o 9 años cuando me llegó por primera vez esta belleza a mis manos, recuerdo que fue un regalo de San Nicolás o Papa Noel. Además me vino con el aquel famoso juego Mario Bros y aquel donde había que cazar a los patos y platillos con aquella pistola de plástico.

Pero sin duda lo que me marcó, creo que hasta el día de hoy, fueron sus juegos. Estamos claros que con este tipo de consolas el factor que más influye es la nostalgia pero esto no quiere decir que sus juegan hayan sido malos, al contario, de los mejores que he tenido la oportunidad de jugar han sido con esta pequeña maquina. Es por esto que quiero hacer un top corto de los que considero fueron los mejores juegos.

Este juego es increíblemente bueno, trata de un pequeño boxeador que se va enfrentando a oponentes siempre mucho más grandes que él. La idea es ir ganándoles a cada uno de ellos hasta llegar a la pelea final que es con el mismísimo Mike Tyson. Los gráficos son los que son, para la época estaban más que bien, el nivel de detalle de los boxeadores era muy bueno para decir verdad.
This game is incredibly good, it is about a little boxer who is facing opponents always much bigger than him. The idea is to beat each of them until the final fight is with Mike Tyson himself. The graphics are what they are, for the time they were more than good, the level of detail of the boxers was very good to tell the truth.

Si se fijan, una particularidad de este juego es que su arbitro era Mario, otra es que el factor diferenciador de cada boxeador era una canción o melodía, al escucharla ya sabías quien te tocaba. Cada round duraba 3 minutos y eran máximo tres, si no lográbamos ganarle en ese tiempo por KO era el arbitro quien decidía al final del combate. De verdad una joya de juego, para mi el mejor sin duda.
If you notice, a particularity of this game is that its referee was Mario, another is that the differentiating factor of each boxer was a song or melody, when you listened to it you already knew who was playing you. Each round lasted 3 minutes and there were a maximum of three, if we did not manage to beat him in that time by KO, it was the referee who decided at the end of the fight. Este juego lo traigo al conteo únicamente por nostalgia y aunque estoy consciente que no fue un juego muy conocido la verdad es que era bastante entretenido. Yo pasaban horas y horas jugando esta maravilla. El modo de juego era como el de cualquier titulo de aventuras, la idea principal era ir cruzando mundo tras mundo con la finalidad de rescatar a Dino, la mascota de Pedro, quien fue secuestrado.
I bring this game to the count only out of nostalgia and although I am aware that it was not a well-known game, the truth is that it was quite entertaining. I spent hours and hours playing this wonder. The gameplay was like that of any adventure title, the main idea was to go across world after world in order to rescue Dino, Pedro's pet, who was kidnapped.

Si bien es verdad que juegos de Megaman hay como peces en el mar esta fue y creo sigue siendo una franquicia sumamente exitosa en el mundo de los videojuegos. Hoy en día les puedo decir que me considero un fanático de este universo, me parece increíble lo bueno que es.
While it is true that Megaman games are like fish in the sea, this was and I believe continues to be an extremely successful franchise in the world of video games. Today I can tell you that I consider myself a fan of this universe, I find it incredible how good it is.
Básicamente el concepto de este juego es la batalla que tiene Megaman contra un científico loco y demente llamado Dr Wily y su afán de querer conquistar y dominar el mundo a través de sus miles de robots. Con la ayuda de su arma más poderosa, su brazo de cañón o Mega Buster, este personaje va de mundo en mundo derrotando a todos estos enemigos. Es un juego SUPER DIFICIL, tienes niveles muy complicados que podían garantizar horas de juego sin interrupciones.
Basically the concept of this game is the battle that Megaman has against a mad and insane scientist named Dr Wily and his desire to conquer and dominate the world through his thousands of robots. With the help of his most powerful weapon, his cannon arm or Mega Buster, this character goes from world to world defeating all these enemies. It is a SUPER DIFFICULT game, you have very complicated levels that could guarantee hours of play without interruptions.

El mejor juego de pelea o combate que alguna vez jugué en esta consola. Adictivo, con muy buenos gráficos considerando la época, los detalles en los personajes y que al final era un juego de dar golpes y patadas, a todos nos gustaba eso a esa edad. De la ventajas que recuerdo es que era multijugador lo que implicaba que no bastaba con jugar esta joya sino que también lo podías hacer con tus amigos.
The best fighting or combat game I ever played on this console. Addictive, with very good graphics considering the time, the details in the characters and that in the end it was a game of hitting and kicking, we all liked that at that age. One of the advantages that I remember is that it was multiplayer which implied that it was not enough to play this jewel but that you could also do it with your friends.
La breve historia que hay detrás de este juego es que aparentemente hubo un conflicto nuclear siendo la violencia lo que imperaba en las calles, hasta que un día unos gemelos los cuales practicaban artes marciales decidieron ir tras la banda que estaba detrás de dicha violencia porque además ellos habían secuestrado a la novia de Billy, uno de estos hermanos.
The brief story behind this game is that apparently there was a nuclear conflict with violence prevailing in the streets, until one day some twins who practiced martial arts decided to go after the gang that was behind said violence because in addition they had kidnapped Billy's girlfriend, one of these brothers.

Como buen fanático de las tortugas ninja que he sido siempre no podía dejar este juego por fuera. Al igual que la mayoría de juegos de este estilo la idea principal es ir nivel tras nivel derrotando a todos los enemigos que estas cuatro tortugas tenía.
As a good fan of the ninja turtles that I have always been, I could not leave this game out. Like most games of this style, the main idea is to go level after level defeating all the enemies that these four turtles had.
Uno empieza con Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo o Raphael, es decir, con cualquiera y a medida que el juego va avanzando puedes ir intercambiando entre las cuatro. Se supone que cada tortuga es una vida, al ser derrotadas las cuatro pierdes el juego. Todos los enemigos se encuentran al final de cada mundo o nivel y obviamente tienen que ser derrotados para poder avanzar. Otro de esos juegos que en mi infancia fueron indispensables.

Creo que no hace falta que explique o hable de este juego ya que TODOS lo conocemos pero si, entre los tres títulos este fue mi predilecto. El mejor de la saga de Mario en Nintendo NES.

Así termino esta pequeña lista de juegos que fueron los que más me marcaron en mi niñez, ahí faltan mas títulos como por ejemplo: Robocop o Contra pero es que estos cinco que les mencioné fueron realmente especiales para mi.
So I end this small list of games that were the ones that marked me the most in my childhood, there are more titles missing such as: Robocop or Contra but these five that I mentioned were really special for me.
