[En/Es] Call of Duty 2: Un clásico entre clásicos // A classic of classics 🔶 Experience

Good evening community! I'm back after a while, it's been quite a busy few weeks but they have allowed me to organize my ideas for the future. I have decided to start with a very special game, it is Call of duty 2 which is a classic and for me one of the best games about the second world war.

Call of Duty 2 is a first-person shooter whose story is set between 1941 to 1945 and takes us to the Second World War, contains 3 campaigns which have 3 different protagonists, Vassili Koslov of the 13th Guards Rifle Division (Russian), Sergeant John Davis of the 7th Armored Division in North Africa (British), Bill Taylor of the 2nd Ranger Battalion (American). It was developed by Infinity Ward and distributed by Activision (Konami in Japan) under the direction of Jason West and production of Vince Zampella, its initial release date was October 25, 2005.

I knew the game for a long time, besides it was the first game I played of the saga, the way I met the saga has a story, I always saw in the stores where I bought my PS2 games the classic Call of Duty (1, 2 and 3), but mainly it was for 2 things, first I saw my brother playing CoD 1 which the truth was not interested in playing it, some time later, one day I visited my cousin and he let me play on his PS2, I looked for a game to play and decided to choose Call of Duty 3, by very bad luck the start of the game was bug and I think I could not get on a truck, but that atmosphere, that environment of the second world war interested me a lot so one day I decided to download Call of Duty 2, I chose the 2 just because hehe.

Its missions are the main thing that makes this game not to bore me, they are varied missions and with a lot of action apart from that I feel that they last long enough, making me enjoy every second of this game, the scenarios of the game are unforgettable because they make you really feel in the second world war. When I played it (about 4-5 years ago), the Russian campaign seemed to me the best, but now that I'm replaying it, I'm going through the British campaign and the truth is that the scenarios are very good so I'm more inclined to this one, although of course, I haven't reached the American campaign yet. But I must mention the mission "Demolition" of the Soviet campaign, because it is a very intense mission and its ending was spectacular, one of the best missions I have played in this saga.

Let's see, it doesn't really have the best graphics in the world, but the game can really be enjoyed without going into detail about the animations or graphics, I even noticed that if you shoot at the top of an enemy's helmet, it will fly off but the enemy will be alive. And well, the graphical leap between this and the first COD is remarkable.

I should mention that I was quite amused by some of the comments made by our companions especially on the Soviet campaign, although it is a rather weak point, I wanted to mention it. Another thing I wanted to say is what the heck is Captain Price doing there! I was mad to return to play this game after passing the Modern Warfare trilogy and see Price in the British campaign, but it's nice that he's been with us since 1942.

It is a great COD for its missions more than anything, they are intense and with great scenarios which is enough for me, the soundtrack of the game the truth is not bad, it helps more than anything in times when the hype meets for a fight. I would consider it the best game that deals with the second world war that I have played but I have played the World at War and looked good but because of problems with my pc I could not complete it, besides that I have seen good reviews of COD 1, the original and first of all. In a summary I say that it is a recommended game for those who want to enjoy a classic and normal shooter.

¡Buenas noches comunidad! He vuelto luego de un rato, han sido semanas bastantes movidas pero que me han permitido organizar mis ideas a futuro. He decidido comenzar con un juego bastante especial, se trata de Call of duty 2 el cual es un clásico y para mi uno de los mejores juegos que tratan de la segunda guerra mundial.

Call of duty 2 es un shooter en primera persona cuya historia se sitúa entre 1941 a 1945 y nos lleva a la segunda guerra mundial, contiene 3 campañas las cuales tienen 3 protagonistas distintos, Vassili Koslov de la 13.ª División de Fusileros de la Guardia (Rusa), Sargento John Davis de la 7.ª División Blindada en África del Norte (Británica),Bill Taylor del 2.º Batallón de Rangers (Estadounidense). Fue desarrollado por Infinity Ward y distribuido por Activision (Konami en Japón) bajo la dirección de Jason West y producción de Vince Zampella, su fecha de lanzamiento inicial fue el 25 de octubre de 2005.

El juego lo conocía desde hace tiempo, aparte que fue el primer juego que jugué de la saga, la manera que conocí a la saga tiene una historia, siempre veía en las tiendas donde compraba mis juegos para PS2 los Call of Duty clásicos (1, 2 y 3), pero principalmente fue por 2 cosas, primero vi a mi hermano jugando el CoD 1 el cual la verdad no me había interesado jugarlo, tiempo después, un día visite a mi primo y me dejo jugar en su PS2, busque un juego para jugar y decidí escoger el Call of Duty 3, por muy mala suerte el inicio del juego estaba bugeado y creo que no podía montarme en un camión, pero esa atmosfera, ese ambiente de la segunda guerra mundial me intereso mucho por lo cual un día decidí descargar el Call of Duty 2, elegí el 2 solo porque si jeje.

Sus misiones son lo principal que hace que este juego no me aburra, son misiones variadas y con mucha acción aparte de que siento que duran bastante, haciendo que pueda disfrutar cada segundo de este juego, son inolvidables los escenarios del juego ya que hacen que realmente te sientas en la segunda guerra mundial. Cuando lo jugué (hace unos 4-5 años), la campaña rusa me parecía la mejor, pero ahora que lo estoy volviendo a pasar, voy por la campaña británica y la verdad sus escenarios son muy buenos por lo cual me inclino mas a esta, aunque claro, aun no he llegado a la campaña estadounidense. Pero debo mencionar a la misión "Demolición" de la campaña soviética, ya que es una misión bastante intensa y su final fue espectacular, de las mejores misiones que he jugado de esta saga.

A ver, realmente no tiene los mejores gráficos de todo el mundo, pero realmente el juego puede disfrutarse sin andar detallando las animaciones o los gráficos de este, incluso me di cuenta que si se dispara a la parte de arriba del casco de un enemigo, este saldrá volando pero el enemigo estará vivo. Y pues bueno, el salto grafico que hubo entre este y el primer COD es notable.

Debo mencionar que me divertí bastante con algunos comentarios de nuestros compañeros mas que todo en la campaña soviética, si bien es un punto bastante flojo, quería mencionarlo. Otra cosa que quería decir es ¡Que rayos hace el capitán Price allí! Me quede loco al volver a jugar este juego luego de pasar la trilogía de los Modern Warfare y ver en la campaña británica que esta Price, pero bueno se agradece que este con nosotros desde 1942.

Es un gran COD por sus misiones mas que todo, son intensas y con escenarios grandiosos lo cual es suficiente para mi, el soundtrack de el juego la verdad no esta mal, ayuda mas que todo en momentos en los que se reúne el hype para un combate. Lo consideraría el mejor juego que trata de la segunda guerra mundial que he jugado peeeeero he jugado el World at War y se veía bueno aunque por problemas con mi pc no logre completarlo, aparte que he visto buenos comentarios del COD 1, el original y primero de todos. En un resumen digo que es un juego recomendable para aquellos que quieran disfrutar de un shooter clasico y normal.

Y hasta aquí el post de hoy y de la semana, espero volver a hacer algún post próximamente ya que extrañaba hacer este tipo de posts aunque tenga que cambiar mi ritmo, desde siempre he querido hacer dos posts por semana pero por mi problema de falta de ideas se redujo a 1 por semana y por ahora 1 por mes jajaja pero eso espero cambiarlo, nos vemos a la próxima querida comunidad.
