It's been a few weeks since my last update after stopping the sailing grind. My current goal is to get the max cape, which involves maxing all of my skills. I am slowly in the process of working on some of my skills, and it's a slow process to level them. Currently, I am mainly leveling up my Slayer together with my combat stats. I am also doing some skilling on the side. I have been upgrading my gear a little bit as well.
2200 Total Level
Here are my current stats. Most of the levels have been in my combat stats, slayer, and construction. I am using the plan that I mentioned during my previous update because I think that the 99 construction cape is one of the best items to get. A fast way into your own Player Own House and the ability to teleport over to any of the house locations will make traveling so much easier. I also got my total level to be over 2,000 so that means that I have access to the 2000 skill total worlds. These worlds have fewer people, so it should make finding an open world easier.
During my Slayer Grind, I decided to unlock bosses as tasks, but I have found myself dying a few times as well. I think I'll wait until my stats are a bit higher, and I have Oathplate to increase my slash accuracy. There are still a lot more upgrades that I can add, but I just find myself dying too often trying to learn the boss mechanics.
Finishing Desert Treasure II and A Night at the Theatre
I decided to finish the quests because I didn't want to use up an inventory spot for a dramen staff anymore when using Fairy rings. Most of the quests were complete, but there were just two left for me, and one of them is arguably the hardest quest in OSRS.
I had quite a bit of trouble on this quest against Vardovis and the final boss fight. This quest was added a few years ago, and it is a grandmaster quest. It's the last of the bosses, and I didn't want to do it because I didn't have the right gear to make it easier. The four separate bosses can also be killed again after the quest ends, and I had the hardest time at Vardorvis. The other 3 only took 1 try, but when I tried Whisperer for a slayer task after, I died a ton of times. I died a few times against the final boss, but it wasn't as hard once I understood how to do that fight.
The last quest that I did was A Night at the Theatre. This one wasn't as hard because I had fairly high stats, and I did the entry mode version of the raid. It worked out well, and with the completion of this quest, I have all quests complete. I bought the quest cape afterwards and finished the Lumbridge and Draynor Dairy, so I don't have to use a dramen staff ever again.
Above is the quest point cape if you want to see it.
99 Magic
I got another skill at 99 now, and it's magic. I was following through with my construction plan, and I was alching items to get back some gold. It's a 99 that would come eventually, but I am always glad to see another 99.
Conclusion and my plans
It's been a few weeks, but I am making some slow progress towards that max cape. I am glad to have gotten all the current quests done as well. I also got 99 magic, and 2200 total level so that count as a fairly good achievement. The last 4 total level servers require 2350, and that might be quite a ways off. The slayer grind continues, as I think it's better to do that together with combat. At the same time, I'll be working on leveling up my construction as well.
