Pongámonos en contexto, hace ya unos... 19 años, cuando tenia recién 7 años conocí lo que en su momento era el ''Boom'' los Cyber Cafe en donde había un montón de computadoras y todas las personas que no tenían la oportunidad de tener una o de tenerla no poseían internet, iban a estos centros a realizar trabajos o los niños como yo que solo iban a jugar.

Recuerdo que en esa época conocí MapleStory aunque este no fue mi primer juego online, también habían muchas personas que jugaba Gunbound y Gunz pero ninguno de estos me llamo tanto la atención como lo fue MU.
I remember that at that time I knew MapleStory although this was not my first online game, there were also many people who played Gunbound and Gunz but none of these called my attention as much as MU.
MU es un MMORPG inspirado en un libro conocido como The lost continent of MU escrito por un autor británico, el juego al igual que todos los MMORPG la idea es subir al máximo nivel para poder vencer los enemigos con facilidad, a diferencia de otros juegos, el nivel tope de MU es el 400 y al llegar a este se realiza un ''Reset'' en donde vuelves a iniciar tu personaje desde el nivel 1 pero con puntos extras en las estadísticas para asignar, no existe un limite de ''Reset'' por lo que tu personaje entre mas veces le realizaras este ''Power UP'' tendría mas velocidad de ataque, mas daño y recibiría menos daño de los enemigos.
MU is a MMORPG inspired by a book known as The lost continent of MU written by a British author, the game like all MMORPG the idea is to climb to the maximum level to be able to defeat the enemies with ease, unlike other games, the top level of MU is 400 and when you reach this level you do a ''Reset'' where you restart your character from level 1 but with extra points in the statistics to assign, there is no limit of ''Reset'' so your character the more times you do this ''Power UP'' would have more attack speed, more damage and would receive less damage from enemies.
Lo interesante de MU es que el juego como tal salió al publico tanto su versión para jugar como su código hacia los programadores permitiéndoles abrir sus propios servidores acomodando la experiencia que recibirían los personajes y así modificando la dificultad para realizar los tan preciados Reset, por otra parte, también les permitía agregar nuevas armaduras, mapas, monstruos, incluso eventos.
The interesting thing about MU is that the game as such was released to the public, both its playable version and its code to the programmers, allowing them to open their own servers, adjusting the experience that the characters would receive and thus modifying the difficulty to perform the so precious Reset, on the other hand, it also allowed them to add new armors, maps, monsters, even events.
Lo que te engancha en este genero, es que es un Hack&Slash similar a Diablo, en donde tienes una vista en tercera persona, manejando tu personaje con solo dar Click-Derecho, dentro de este mundo habían eventos en donde tenias que batallar contra otros jugadores con el fin de ser el primero y obtener buenas recompensas como lo eran las joyas (Soul, bless y Chaos) que permitían mejorar las armaduras de nuestros personajes, por otro lado, existían otros eventos en donde teníamos la oportunidad de conseguir items ''Excelentes'' que básicamente eran la versión mejorada de los items comunes y tenían un brillo único.
What hooks you in this genre, is that it is a Hack&Slash similar to Diablo, where you have a third person view, managing your character with just right-click, in this world there were events where you had to battle against other players in order to be the first and get good rewards as were the jewels (Soul, bless and Chaos) that allowed to improve the armor of our characters, on the other hand, there were other events where we had the opportunity to get ''Excellent'' items that basically were the improved version of the common items and had a unique shine.
El primer servidor de MU que jugué fue MU Magdalena, aunque aun existe dicho servidor, muy pocas personas lo juegan, actualmente tengo una cuenta de MU y es básicamente de donde saque todas las imágenes que puse en el post, conocido como ''Heroes MU'' tiene alrededor de 10 años ONLINE y es bastante interesante, pues en su tiempo permitia la compra de ''VIP'' en mi moneda local (Actualmente dichos métodos de pago fueron descontinuados y por eso deje de jugarlo)
