Hello! π₯³β¨
Before concluding my gameplay, I want to share some adventures, yup, facing the final boss, Alduin.
Protecc Whiterun
I never thought Whiterun would have a big chunk part on the main story. I thought it would be just an ordinary city. π I enjoyed the hack-and-slash situation on this quest. So instead of delivering ancient plants and whatnot, I am here getting some action.
The Stormcloaks will sack the city and I was told to defend the outer wall. The rebels were led by Ulfric Stormcloak.
For Skyrim!
Jarl Ulfic Stromcloak is DED just like that.
Meeting the Vampire Family
As a vampire, you must have a house like this. π It is cold, eerie, and has that old-money vibe. I never heard of a broke vampire HAHAHA.
Serana, the daughter of Lord Vampire was kept away for years. It is quite a long journey to save her. We had a mission to meet her mom to Soul Cairn, an underworld.
Harkon the Lord Vampire seems disgusted with me, haha! He wants to sacrifice his only child to get stronger. What a pure evil. And so, I have to defeat this monster to save Serana.
All of the vampires thought that the wife died a long time ago but she was just hiding in the castle's garden. Serana and I had the mission to meet her mom. We were transported to an underworld-looking garden instead.
The final mission is to kill Harkon. I had to do it twice because it was glitching. Even if the health bar is fully drained, the character is just stuck in the corner. So just think of the time I spent just to finish this mission. π€§
Entering Dark Brotherhood
Now that I am a child to the night mother, I have to obey. My goal for this contract is to kill a woman who runs an orphanage. This woman is cruel to the children, and I am happy to take her life.
Grelod the Kind? More like Grelod the Burnt.π₯ Now the children are free!
Throat of the World
I had to keep an eye on my health bar when I fought with this guy. A very strong dragon, indeed! He talks in gibberish words I cannot decipher though. After a tough battle, he fled from me. Now, I have to search his lair by asking the Jarl of Whiterun to help me so. I learned a shout that can command a dragon to land to bring me to where Alduin was.
Weee! I'm flying!
Odahviing, the captured dragon told me that Alduin was hiding in the Nord Underworld but first, I had to pass the portal to Sovngarde. There then I set the dragon free. I am now about to meet the people from the underworld.
The end of Alduin
The sky of the underworld is very pretty. π©π I have to take a picture of it. Will I meet the people I killed from the normal world?
There is this big backbone that serves as a bridge to the building. It looks like the final form of Eren of Attack in Titan. π But I believe that this is a bone from a gigantic dragon.
These are the dead heroes that will help me end Alduin. They were the strongest of the strongest in their time. I bought a lot of healing and magic potions just in case Alduin is twice as tough this time.
I needed the help of the heroes, some potions, atronachs, and the correct shouts to slay Alduin. A lot of flying that made it difficult to inflict damage. There Alduin was slain. I was waiting for a big drop from Alduin but I got nothing! π©
Conclusion:
With over 60+ hours of playing Skyrim, I have finally finished the main quest (I think). From what I have researched, this game is endless! Sidequest content will generate forever, but the main quest will have a singular outcome. The main quest is pretty easy to beat especially when you are not in the survival mode that requires sleep and food. The map is easy to sub-memorize when you spend some time playing. The graphics is okay, decent for my liking.
On the not-so-good side, I encountered a lot of glitches in the game. For example, floating horses, stuck NPCs, and repetitive dialogues even though I am not triggering the talk button. I also noticed that you cannot jump! π© I am honestly annoyed too with too much dialogue, haha! NPCs here are talking, huh. I think I will enjoy Skyrim with mods. π
If I were to rate Skyrim based on how far I played it, I would rate it 7.5/10.
I will not finish the misc quests anymore, and so I will close my gameplay to Skyrim! π It was a nice game!
Any suggestions for the next? π
