As of writing this blog, I have already spent at least 50 hours of gameplay of Skyrim. Some days I play half of the day of just playing, haha! Can't help it! It is addicting. But sometimes, the NPCs talk too much and too slowly.๐ Or do I just read fast? Some misc quests are boring like collecting ingredients for an alchemist. So, here are some of my gameplays that I found enjoyable or funny. ๐
Serving my time in jail
It is easy to steal in Whiterun because people are not looking, hah! But to make it more concealed, I crouch to not be detected. I sometimes forget that people are looking! Damn another 40 Gold bounty on me. Sometimes it pisses me off to have a bounty of 1 Gold for an accident stealing of tankard. Dafuq ๐ But the serving of time in jail is just about 15 seconds in real life. Well, a buffer time for me to rub my eyes.
What is a "Jarl"?
I was so confused... Why every leader or a person with the highest authority on the land is named Jarl? There is no freaking way that it is coincidental, because why would the devs use the same name, right? ๐ So my three brain cells opened Google and searched for 'Jarl". And boom, a Norse or Danish chief. Now it makes sense! Holy cow hahaha ๐
Excuse me?
For some homes, the kitchen and pantry are in the basement. Of course, I will steal every cheese wheel I can find until my inventory is full. ๐ Sometimes, the servants' bedrooms are attached to the kitchen. This little girl won't go away! I just want to still some Gold on the end table. The dialogue is funny, though. Like, excuse me? I am the Dragonborn! ๐
Investing on horse
One of the reasons why I steal and earn Gold is to have a horse. This is so helpful for a long journey. Some areas are yet to be discovered. Per horse is 1000 Gold and can be bought on horse stables that are usually found in front of the city's entrance. I learned that when the horse dies, it will not respawn. Sucks. I have to be careful when making my way to Saber cats infested forest.
Solstheim
I arrived at Wilhelm, a cold city. On the side of the city gate, I found a ship that could take me to Solstheim, where Miraak quest is located. I have to pay 250 Gold for a ride, though. It is giving a desert vibe.
Killin a dragon
The quest started with a courier giving me a letter from a "friend". At first, I did not know how to find the letter in my inventory, haha. I have to read the letter to activate the quest. The friend wanted me to meet him/her at Riverwood, the first place I discovered after Helgen. I am guessing the sender appeared in the first scenes of the game.
It was Delphine after all. She thought that dragons kept coming back for evil purposes. She thought that someone was controlling or reviving them. Together with her, we went to the dragon burial site to kill Sahloknir, a dragon sent by Alduin.
Taking over Forts
Probably one of my favorite misc quests is taking over forts scattered in Skyrim. I like action rather than collecting stuff. Also, forts are shortcut teleports for me. Together with Hadvar, we invaded bandit-invested forts.
Stealing all cheese wheels and sweet rolls
This is a gathering on Blue Palace. Food is free to take, so why not take everything free? ๐ Aside from sweet rolls, I took apple pies, chunks of meat, cheese wheels, etc. They can heal for 10+ max, so when I am out of potions, I just eat them.
A lot of lore and adventure to come!
Thank you for reading! ๐
