Dark Souls 1 was the last of the 4 Souls games (1-3 + Demon's Soul's) i played but even it's the second oldest of them, i like 1 the most (exept for lost Izelith, because F that place!).
Getting so often back to firelink shrine when you think you're miles away from it just felt so awesome!
Firelink Shrine was amazing. I wish I hadn't let the Fire Keeper die; I felt so bad for a long time. xD
You can ressurect her when using the black eye in anor londo (mine died also on my first playtrough^^).
And how the hell a player is supposed to know that lol
I feel like I missed a lot of things in the game. It doesn't tell you sh*t.
Yeah, the lack of information was the reason i dropped Demon Souls after defeating phalanx because i had no clue what to do next...
I guess thats why they say your first Souls-Like is the hardest^^
But in defense of Dark Souls 1: You get a message that the black eye (or was it an orb?) that you picked up on her corpse is responding to something when you're in the halls of anor londo before O&S.
