Hola a todos en la grandiosa comunidad de Hive Gaming hoy les presento mi primer post del año 2021.
Un gran saludo a todos los gamers que crean y consumen contenido en esta comunidad, un gran abrazo a todos, mis mejores deseos para todos ustedes en este nuevo comienzo, una nueva etapa donde todos tenemos un nuevo camino que recorrer.
¡¡¡El mejor comienzo para este año es hablar de videojuegos!!!
Hoy quiero presentarles un juego que es de la serie de simulación económica Tycoon, si anteriormente han revisado varios de mis contenidos sobre videojuegos podrán apreciar que me atraen mucho los juegos de simulación económica o los de negocios, estos para mí son muy divertidos debido a que para jugarlos debemos pensar, planificar y desarrollar el juego de una manera viable, así como nuestras finanzas personales. Hoy en particular quiero dar mi opinión y una pequeña reseña de uno de los juegos de la serie Tycoon.
Tengo que reconocer que Prison no es la primera entrega que conocí con esta metodología de Tycoon, de hecho la primera entrega que pude apreciar y jugar fue Zoo Tycoon, donde somos los directores de un zoológico en lugar de una prisión, podíamos administrar los detalles de este zoológico, sin embargo, quise comenzar con esta serie de con Prison Tycoon debido a que en el 2005 sale del molde y es de los primeros en simulación y finanzas en jugarse en una prisión, debemos tener en cuenta que existen muchos juegos de prisión, sin embargo, son de genero acción y aventuras.
Este juego fue lanzado en julio del 2005, a pesar no tener la mejor de las calefacciones de los críticos no deja de ser un juego interesante, sobre todo debemos resaltar el hecho de que se sale del molde de lo común, anteriormente no había existido un juego de simulación estratégica enfocada a las finanzas donde el escenario fuese una prisión.
Este aspecto fue el principal en cuanto a las malas reseñas, además de detalles en cuanto a los gráficos y cámaras, sin embargo, la opinión fue cambiando al pasar los años dándole cada vez más aceptabilidad a los juegos Tycoon en la prisión, hoy en día existen una interesante cantidad de juegos enfocados esta misma rama.
En mi opinión el tema de las prisiones no era reflejado como divertido para mediados del 2005, fecha de lanzamiento del juego, sin embargo, la diversión fue aumentando a lo largo de los años en referencia a la jugabilidad en las prisiones. En lo particular este concepto negativo sobre juegos en prisión cambia en el transcurso del tiempo al lanzar juegos en prisión, además, de famosas series como Prison Break que hicieron llevar más aceptación a los videojuegos sobre todo de acción y posteriormente los de simulación estratégica en finanzas.
Uno de los aspectos claves de este tipo de juego de simulación es que no podemos controlar lo que hacen los habites o en este caso los reclusos, simplemente interactuamos de manera indirecta, creando las condiciones para que ellos realicen las acciones, este aspecto es lo que hace que sea realmente una simulación, ya que no podemos controlar todo los aspectos, solo los incentivamos con las condiciones.
Esta es una verdadera diferencia en comparación a otros juegos en los cuales la finanzas es una parte escencial pero que si controlamos todos los aspectos de esa simulación, ese es el caso de los juegos de la Serie SIMS, en los cuales a través del personaje controlamos literalmente cada aspecto de su vida, lo cual lo coloca fuera de la clasificación de simulación.
Debemos tener en cuenta que en cuanto a simulación y SIMS tenemos la serie de SIM CITY, las cuales cumplen en cuanto a requisitos la simulación económica, ya de este juego he hablado anteriormente en una antigua reseña, pero que se distingue bastante a el juego presentado el día de hoy
El juego
Este juego de estrategia se basa en construir una gran prisión que genere ingresos importantes, estos ingresos pueden venir de donaciones, fondos del estado o incluso producido por el trabajo de los reclusos.
Como directores de la prisión estamos a cargo del personal que labora en la institución penitenciaria, debemos controlar su sueldo y en lo posible tratar que siempre se encuentre de buen ánimo para trabajar dentro de un lugar lleno de asesinos.
Debemos construir nuevas alas y expansiones a la prisión, teniendo en cuenta edificios para el esparcimiento, ejercicio y alimentación de los reclusos como la secciones para que los reclusos puedan trabajar y así generar ingresos para expandir nuestra prisión.
Debemos asegurarnos que nuestra prisión sea completamente segura, tanto para el personal que labora en la institución como para los mismos reclusos dentro de nuestras puertas, seguramente deberemos controlar varias revueltas que se generan dentro de las instalaciones, debemos mantener a los reclusos en orden por su propia seguridad.
En muchos casos de toda la serie de Prison Tycoon el dinero que viene desde los fondos estadales puede verse afectado por la categoría de los reclusos que entran en nuestra prisión, los reclusos con un historial más violento son mejor pagados por el estado, así que nos conviene aumentar la seguridad y mejorar las instalaciones para que este tipo de reclusos lleguen para que el mismo estado llene nuestras arcas de dinero.
Podemos rehabilitar a los reclusos, volviéndolos ciudadanos ejemplares. Existen modos de juegos o misiones en las cuales debemos conseguir ciertos objetivos, como rehabilitar internos como disminuir el número de peleas entre reclusos, debemos crear la estrategia correcta para lograr estos objetivos
Dentro de los edificios también elegimos la distribución de su mobiliario, como camas, literas en caso de los dormitorios, camillas en caso de los consultorios, incluso controlar la distribución del gimnasio, todo cuesta dinero y como buenos directores debemos buscar la mejor estrategia financiera para el crecimiento de la prisión.
Definitivamente para los amantes de las estrategias y simulaciones un juego a conocer, así como también toda la serie Tycoon nos ofrece, desde zoológicos hasta carteles de droga, teniendo en cuenta que prisión es uno de los primeros y más relanzados de esta serie.
En próximas entregas de esta serie entregare más información sobre los Tycoon, dando un recorrido a varios juegos históricos y sus evoluciones, en mi opinión esta serie de simulaciones es una de las más vistosas en cuanto este tipo de juegos. Definitivamente hay un largo camino que recorrer en toda las entregas tanto de Prison Tycoon como de las otras entregas con otros escenarios.

Today I want to present a game that is from the economic simulation series Tycoon, if you have previously reviewed several of my content on video games you will appreciate that I am very attracted to economic simulation games or business games, these for me are very fun because to play them we must think, plan and develop the game in a viable way, as well as our personal finances. Today in particular I want to give my opinion and a small review of one of the games of the Tycoon series.
I have to recognize that Prison is not the first game that I knew with this methodology of Tycoon, in fact the first game that I could appreciate and play was Zoo Tycoon, where we are the directors of a zoo instead of a prison, we could manage the details of this zoo, however, I wanted to begin with this series of with Prison Tycoon because in 2005 it comes out of the mold and it is one of the first in simulation and finances to be played in a prison, we must take into account that there are many prison games, however, they are action and adventure games.
This game was launched in July 2005, despite not having the best of the heat of the critics does not cease to be an interesting game, especially we must highlight the fact that it comes out of the mold of the common, previously there had not been a strategic simulation game focused on finance where the scenario was a prison.
This aspect was the main one in terms of bad reviews, besides details in terms of graphics and cameras, however, the opinion was changing over the years giving more and more acceptability to the Tycoon games in the prison, today there are an interesting amount of games focused on this same branch.
In my opinion, the prison theme was not reflected as fun by mid 2005, when the game was released, however, the fun increased over the years in reference to prison gameplay. In particular, this negative concept of prison games changes over time with the release of prison games, as well as famous series such as Prison Break that brought more acceptance to video games, especially action games and later on strategic simulation games in finance.
One of the key aspects of this type of simulation game is that we cannot control what the inmates do, or in this case the inmates, we simply interact in an indirect way, creating the conditions for them to perform the actions, this aspect is what makes it really a simulation, since we cannot control all the aspects, we only encourage them with the conditions.
This is a real difference compared to other games in which finance is an essential part but if we control all aspects of that simulation, that is the case of the SIMS Series games, in which through the character we control literally every aspect of your life, which places it outside the simulation classification.
We must bear in mind that in terms of simulation and SIMS we have the SIM CITY series, which meet the requirements of economic simulation, I have already spoken of this game in an old review, but it is quite different to the game presented today
The Game
This strategy game is based on building a large prison that generates significant income, this income can come from donations, state funds or even produced by the work of the inmates.
As prison directors we are in charge of the staff working in the prison, we must control their salary and try to make sure that they are always in a good mood to work in a place full of killers.
We must build new wings and expansions to the prison, taking into account buildings for recreation, exercise and food for the inmates as well as sections for inmates to work and thus generate income to expand our prison.
We must ensure that our prison is completely secure, both for the staff working in the institution and for the inmates themselves within our gates, we must surely control various revolts that are generated within the facility, we must keep the inmates in order for their own safety.
In many cases in the entirety of Prison Tycoon the money that comes from state funds can be affected by the category of inmates that enter our prison, the inmates with a more violent history are better paid by the state, so it is in our best interest to increase security and improve the facilities so that these types of inmates come in and the state itself fills our coffers with money.
We can rehabilitate inmates, making them exemplary citizens. There are games or missions in which we must achieve certain objectives, such as rehabilitating inmates and reducing the number of fights between inmates, we must create the right strategy to achieve these objectives.
Within the buildings we also choose the distribution of their furniture, such as beds, bunk beds in the case of the dormitories, stretchers in the case of the offices, even controlling the distribution of the gymnasium, everything costs money and as good directors we must seek the best financial strategy for the growth of the prison.
Definitely for lovers of strategies and simulations a game to know, as well as the whole series Tycoon offers us, from zoos to drug cartels, taking into account that prison is one of the first and most relaunched in this series.
In next deliveries of this series I will give more information about the Tycoon, giving a tour to several historical games and their evolutions, in my opinion this series of simulations is one of the most showy as far as this type of games. Definitely there is a long way to go in all deliveries of both Prison Tycoon as the other deliveries with other scenarios.
