Slime Rancher is one of the first games that I got to play that were somewhat heavy and required a good graphics card and that you could not play on any computer, as I was always a lover of the category of indie games or independent games, as well as one of my favorite games is Nuclear Throne or Castle Crashers being two very good games of this same category, games which I remember a lot by simply knowing them for years for having seen them on the internet or on YouTube, also when I did not know what to play I always put in the search engine indie games and downloaded the first ones I liked.
I remember Slime Rancher I met him in 2017, I was about 13 or 14 years old more or less, seeing that videos of this game were being uploaded all over YouTube, plus my favorite youtuber at that time was also playing it and uploading his gameplay to his channel, because of this fame I watched many videos of this game and it seemed very simple and very fun, also for me, I'm a lover of taking care of farms and that kind of stuff I found it very funny, if you think about it is very rare that you capture animals from their natural habitat to lock them in pens and then sell their products and you become a millionaire, but this is not a campaign to release the slime so let's continue.
The game is very simple, you are a girl named Beatrix LeBeau, who has a kind of gun that has the ability to suck up and shoots said things it sucks up. For some reason this girl has a house in the middle of an island in which the fauna is characterized because its 90 are slime of different kinds, the other 10 percent are chickens of different types being food for carnivorous or omnivorous slime and the ecosystem of this big island is also composed of many types of fruits and vegetables that are mainly food for herbivorous slime.
The objective of this game is to capture slime and lock them in pens where they will be fed.
I am going to name the types of slime to give you an idea of all the ones in the game, I will also put a picture I took from the Wikipedia of the game so you can see what their physical aspects are.

Most of the slime when being fed release something called Plort, being this some diamonds with the aspect of the slime that released it, this Plort you can give it to a slime of another kind to make a Long Slime being these Slimes combined between two types.
If you give a long slime another plort different from its two other kinds and this long slime eats it, a Tar Slime will be created, being an evil slime that also appears at night, being a slime that eats other slime and multiplies, being able to kill it by shooting water with your vacuum gun and also disappears when it spends some time in the sun.
Each one has a characteristic that distinguishes it from the rest and each one has its own zone of appearance, I will not explain all this so much in detail, as it is very tedious for me to write about each one, I recommend that if you are interested in knowing more see the wiki of the game.
My time playing
One day I woke up wanting to play this game so I spent a whole day trying to download it, since my internet does not help me at all, but after the wait if I could play with quite some difficulties, by the fact that the game requires a good computer, so I had to put all the graphics of the game to the minimum and was so I could play it more or less, starting there my adventure.
Although by the time I took the screenshots I had already spent several days playing to see if it motivates me to take screenshots with the resolution with which they looked, but as I only want to make a short post about this game, I don't want to make a series either, so I show you my progress.
I had three corrals where I had in each slime combination.
- Pink Slime + Rock Slime
- Pink Slime + Tabby Slime
- Tabby Slime + Phosphor Slime
These four types of slimes being the most common at the beginning, being the pink Slime the ones that appear literally everywhere, being these the most basic being thus the most annoying, so every time I see an area with many Pink Slime I grab them with my vacuum weapon and throw them in the air out of the map.
That we can also see that I carry in my inventory something called Plort Pink, this is the plort left by the Pink Slime, which I forgot to comment something very interesting about the plort.
Each plort can be sold in a machine to sell plort, where we can see that the plort are like Cryptocurrencies, had these each their own value, which can go up and down, depending on how complicated it is to obtain the plort and the amount of times you sell it, I had never noticed that this game had this system until this time that I played it again.
But if there is one thing I love about this game is exploring all over the island and discovering new foods, slimes and many things I even found a big group of slime tar.
Just look at the terrified little face of the slime rock about to be eaten, how cute.
This area I also found a Fat Slime, which this type of slime you have to feed him to discover more things like portals that take you to another part of the map and also give you keys to unlock other parts of the map.
This door I was able to open with a key I had since I fed a fat Slime before I started taking screenshots.
Said door led me to a cave where there was a Fat Rock Slime .
Where I also got many new Slime that I didn't have such as the Rad Slime and also the Boom Slime .
Which I had to take home, but as I had no money to make more pens I had to get rid of the Long Slime that had to do with pink, since being very common I could find them everywhere so out goes the old and in comes the new, but the only way to get rid of these slime was to create a tar that ate all Slime, but the thing went wrong and I got out of control a lot.
Which with a lot of water I was able to calm down and be able to sort out my new Slime with the old ones. Stopping playing my game, as I felt it was enough to comment on this post, so so much for the showing of this great game.
Slime Rancher es un juego de los primeros que llegue a jugar que eran de cierta manera pesados y que requerían de una buena tarjeta gráfica y que no la podías jugar en cualquier computadora, ya que yo siempre fui amante de con la categoría de juegos indie o juegos independientes, como también uno de mis juegos favoritos es el Nuclear Throne o Castle Crashers siendo dos juegos muy buenos de esta misma categoría, juegos lo cuales recuerdo mucho por simplemente conocerlos desde hace años por haberlos visto en internet o en YouTube, también cuando no sabía que jugar siempre ponía en el buscador juegos indie y descargaba los primeros que me gustaban.
Recuerdo que el Slime Rancher lo conocí en el año 2017, tenía yo unos 13 o 14 años más o menos, viendo que se estaban subiendo videos de este juego por todo YouTube, además que mi youtuber favorito en ese momento también lo estaba jugando y subía sus gameplay a su canal, debido a esta fama yo veía muchos videos de este juego y me parecía muy simple y muy divertido, además para mí, que soy amante de esto de cuidar de granjas y ese tipo de cosas me pareció muy divertido, que si te pones a pensar es muy raro que captures a animales de su habitad natural para encerrarlo en corrales para luego vender sus productos y tu hacerte millonario, pero esta no es una campaña de liberación de los slime así que sigamos.
El juego es muy simple, eres una chica llamada Beatrix LeBeau, que tiene una clase de arma que tiene la habilidad de aspirar y dispara dichas cosas que aspire. Por alguna razón esta chica tiene una casa en medio de una isla en la cual la fauna se caracteriza porque su 90 son slime de distintas clases, el otro 10 por ciento son gallinas de distintos tipos siendo alimentos de slimes carnívoros u omnívoros y el ecosistema de esta isla tan grande también está compuesta por muchos tipos de frutas y vegetales que son alimentos principalmente de slimes herbívoros.
Siendo el objetivo de este juego capturar slimes y encerrarlos en corrales donde serán alimentados.
Voy a nombrar a los tipos de slimes para que se hagan una idea de todos los que hay en todo el juego, también pondré una foto que saque de la Wikipedia del juego para que vean cuáles son sus aspectos físicos.

La mayoría de los slimes al estar alimentados sueltan algo llamado Plort, siendo esto estos unos diamantes con el aspecto del slime que lo soltó, esto Plort se lo puedes dar a un slime de otra clase para hacer un Slime largo siendo estos Slimes combinados entre dos tipos.
Si a un slime largo le das otro plort diferente a sus dos otras clases y este slime largo se lo come se creara un Slime Alquitrán, siendo un slime malvado que también aparase en las noches, siendo un slime que se come a otros slime y se va multiplicando, pudiendo matarlo disparándole agua con tu arma aspiradora y también desaparecen cuando pasan rato en el sol.
Cada uno tiene una característica que lo distingue al resto y cada uno tiene su propia zona de aparición, no explicaré todo esto tanto a detalle, ya que es muy tedioso para mí escribir sobre cada uno, les recomiendo que si están interesados en saber más vean la wiki del juego.
Mi tiempo jugando
Un día me levante con ganas de jugar este juego así que pase un día entero intentando descargarlo, ya que mi internet no me ayuda para nada, pero luego de la espera si pude jugar con bastantes dificultades, por el hecho de que el juego requiere una buena computadora, por lo que tuve poner todos los gráficos del juego al mínimo y fue así que lo pude jugar más o menos, comenzando allí mi aventura.
Aunque para cuando tome las capturas de pantallas ya había pasado varios días jugando para ver si me motiva tomar capturas con la resolución con la que se veían, pero como solo quiero hacer un post corto sobre este juego, tampoco quiero hacer una serie, así que les muestro mi progreso.
Tenía tres corrales donde tenía en cada una combinación de slime
- Slime Rosa + Slime roca
- Slime Rosa + Slime Atigrado
- Slime Atigrado + Slime Fósforo
Siendo estos cuatro tipos de slimes los más comunes al principio, siendo los Slime rosa los que aparecen en literal todos lados, siendo estos los más básicos siendo así los más molestos, así que cada que veo una zona con muchos Slime Rosa los agarro con mi arma aspiradora y los lanzo por los aires fuera del mapa.
Que también podemos ver que llevo en mi inventario algo llamado Plort Rosa, esto son los plort dejados por los Slime Rosa, que se me olvido comentar algo muy interesante de los plort.
Cada plort puede ser vendido en una máquina para vender plort, donde podemos ver que los plort son como Criptomonedas, tenido estas cada su propio valor, el cual puede ir subiendo y bajando, dependiendo de lo complicado que sea obtener el plort y la cantidad de veces que lo vendas, nunca me había fijado que este juego tenía este sistema hasta esta vez que lo volví a jugar.
Pero si hay algo que me encanta de este juego es ir explorando por toda la isla y descubrí nuevas comidas, slimes y muchas cosas encontrándome hasta a un gran grupo de slime alquitrán.
Solo miren la carita de terror del slime roca a punto de ser comido, que lindo.
Esta zona también encontré a un Slime Gordo, que este tipo de slime le tienes que alimentar para ir descubriendo más cosas como portales que te llevan a otro parte del mapa y también te dan llaves para desbloquear otra partes del mapa.
Esta puerta la pude abrir con una llave que tenía desde que alimente a un Slime gordo antes de comenzar a tomar las capturas de pantalla.
Dicha puerta me llevo a una cueva donde había un Slime Gordo Roca
Donde también conseguí a muchos nuevos Slime que no tenía como lo fueron los Slime Rad y También los Slime Búm.
Los cuales me tenía que llevar a casa, pero como no tenía dinero para hacer más corrales tenía que deshacerme de los Slime Largo que tuvieran que ver con rosa, ya que al ser muy comunes los podía encontrar en todas partes así que sale lo viejo y entra lo nuevo, pero la única manera de deshacerme de estos slime era crear a un alquitrán que se comiera todos Slime, pero la cosa salió mal y se me descontrolo mucho.
Lo cual con mucha agua pude calmar y poder ordenar a mis Slime nuevos con los viejos. Dejando de jugar mi partida, ya que sentía que ya era bastante para comentar en este post, así que hasta aquí la mostración de este gran juego.
