If you've been following my massive Dragon Age playthrough, I apologise for this intermission of Hogwarts Legacy. If, however, you've been awaiting the day I stop posting daily Dragon Age, then you're in luck... just for today anyway. 😉
Don't worry; there'll be more Dragon Age tomorrow! 😁
Meet Ellu'kha Kael, future witch of the wizarding world. The character creator isn't the best ever but it has some good options so I'm not too sad about it. My character is only a fifteen year old child after all; don't need to be Busty McBoobalicious with high cheek bones, bright red lips, dark makeup and dominatrix boots. Although I totally would if I could. Maybe on my second playthrough there'll be mods available. xD
Ahem. Anyway. It's time to go on a journey — a magical journey — let's begin! ✨🔮🧙♀️
Honestly, I was going to do a written full playthrough of this game and share it here once I was done with Dragon Age, but after discovering that the wonderful Nvidia Ansel works with it... all of my plans vanished. Instead of experiencing the story as soon as possible and drinking it in bit by bit so I could write it down at the same time, I found myself exploring my surrounds and taking nice photos instead. For hours.
To be expected, really. xD
The game doesn't come with an inbuilt photo mode, but Ansel is fantastic as always. Providing you keep the camera in the immediate area. I have wandered off only to discover some NPC faces have been completely untextured because they're not in my vicinity.
Still, as long as you keep the camera generally around where you are, it's fine.
Unfortunately I didn't discover that Ansel was available until after I completed the first tutorial mission. There were some beautiful areas and effects in that location that would've been amazing with some photo finishes.
But that's okay. Plenty to explore and photograph regardless! And who knows, as I progress through the story I might actually find my way back there.
There will probably be a couple of these screenshot showcases. 😊 This really is a beautiful game and I can't help but get lost in admiring my surroundings instead of visiting my magic lessons.
Please enjoy this collection of screenshots. ❤️
I'm still experiencing my "first day at Hogwarts" so haven't progressed much through the actual game just yet. 😅 But I'm finding it quite fun so far. The movement is intuitive, combat is too, there are a lot of collectables to find and customisable outfits to wear.
I'm looking forward to sharing another screenshot showcase with you again soon. 😊 This game is too pretty not to!
Until next time! ✨🔮
