Today before I even had the chance to partake in my morning coffee, my partner sent me a message. He was at work and it was a slow morning, so he was browsing various websites and stumbled upon a new discovery in our current addiction: World of Warcraft's Dragonflight.
It was an otter! Who wore sunnies! A mount! And an otter mount that was right up my alley. In order to acquire it I needed some cool sunglasses of my own that I had already happened to own, I needed to dance for 5 minutes whilst wearing these sunnies, and I needed to do a tonne of fishing. I was determined to get this mount by the end of day. 😎
So I popped on my sunnies, went to the underwater dance bar, and danced until I passed out. When I awoke, I was back on land and beside a barrel. I picked it up and prepared to fill it with fish, many fish!
I had to collect 100 green rarity fish from Azure Span; 25 blue rarity fish from around the Obsidian Citadel; and 1 purple rarity fish from around Algath'ar Academy.
I was expecting this to take longer. It only took me an hour to fish up all those fish. The most irritating part of this mount hunt was finding the exact location the barrel was originally located because I needed to place it back down where I had found it. Of course I didn't think of noting those coordinates down.
I tried dancing again, hoping it would magic me to the location again, but it didn't. I had to find it myself. 😩
In the end, I noticed someone else hovering around who I had also seen fishing and wearing cool sunnies, and asked them where the barrel was. They knew the spot! Thankfully. xD And then Otto the Otter Mount appeared!
I had accomplished my goal! And it took far less time than the day. A mere hour. Easy peasy if you don't mind fishing. 😁
So technically I was fishing my way to a new mount, but whatever; it started with a dance! 💃
