El juego consiste en hasta 10 tripulantes en una nave espacial dañada, dónde deben ir realizando tareas para repararla y de esta manera volver a casa, pero esto no queda ahí ya que entre los tripulantes se encuentra 1 o 2 impostores que se encargarán de matarlos uno a uno, así como también sabotear las misiones y el oxígeno de la nave.

En este rol sólo debes ir completando las misiones, las cuales puedes encontrar tanto que en el mapa como también siguiendo la flecha amarilla. Las misiones son en su mayoría: eyectar la basura, pasar la tarjeta, conectar cables según su color, ordenar rocas y así por el estilo, misiones sencillas. La tarea más importante es sobrevivir, debes estar muy pendiente de que no te maten mientras cumples tús misiones.

Para cuando se tiene sospecha de un tripulante o si alguien encuentra un cadáver, está la opción de tocar el botón de pánico, este llevará automática a una reunión en una sala de chat con todos los tripulantes, allí se debatirá quien es posiblemente el asesino, colar las prueban que se pueden tener, así como también la oportunidad del impostor de despistar a todos según sus argumentos. El tiempo en la sala de chat es de aproximado 60 segundos (este tiempo puede ser programado), tiempo en el cual se debe votar o no por quien consideres el impostor, según estos votos se eyectará al que haya tenido mayor cantidad de votos, en caso de no haber un acuerdo no será botado nadie de la nave.

My experience playing among Us
Soy de venezuela y como sabrán las mayoría de los venezolanos han emigrado del país en busca de mejores condiciones de vida, así que cabe destacar que ya no tengo amigos viviendo en Venezuela, entonces estar todos en contacto al mismo tiempo era imposible y más sin tener una razón para juntarnos, pero Among Us no solo nos dió una razón para reunirnos todos, si no que también nos creó horas de risa y diversión, incluso tenemos grupo en WhatsApp para ponernos de acuerdo con la hora de las partidas, entre este grupo habemos personas de diferentes partes de Venezuela, también de USA, Perú, Colombia y Chile, separadas por los problemas políticos de nuestro país de orígen y reunidos gracias a Among Us.
