Video games have been a big part of many people's lives, whether they are children, young people or adults. Throughout my life they have accompanied me in their different versions, whether on the phone, the computer or the different consoles. Since I was very young, they called my attention a lot and I started playing them from an early age. This contest created by the Hive Gaming community and Hive account@hivegc is excellent to remember our childhood and mainly it is what motivated me to participate.

Los vídeo juegos han formado gran parte de la vida de muchos, ya sea desde pequeños, jóvenes o de adultos. A lo largo de mi vida me han acompañado en sus distintas versiones, ya sea en el teléfono, la computadora o en las diferentes consolas. Desde que era muy pequeña me llamaban mucho la atención y los comencé a jugar desde temprana edad. Este concurso creado por la comunidad Hive Gaming y Hive account@hivegc es excelente para recordar nuestra infancia y principalmente es lo que me motivo a participar.

I don't remember exactly which was the first game I played, but I can name Minesweeper or Full Tilt! Pinball (which I had to look up because I couldn't remember the name), which I played on an old computer when I lived with my family at my grandmother's house. I remember the times I played PepsiMan with my cousin, whom I consider a brother, in his house when I visited him and whom I miss because he left the country a few years ago.

No recuerdo con exactitud cual fue el primer videojuego al cual le puse la mano, pero si puedo nombrar Buscaminas o Full Tilt! Pinball (el cual tuve que buscar porque no recordaba el nombre), los cuales jugaba en una computadora vieja cuando vivía con mi familia en casa de mi abuela. Recuerdo las veces que jugué PepsiMan con mi primo, al cual considero como un hermano, en su casa cuando iba de visita y al cual extraño porque se fue del país hace algunos años.

Later I remember that when I was little my dad scolded me and my younger brother, two Dsi, one blue and one pink respectively. I think this happened a little over 10 years ago and I can't believe how fast time passes. These Dsi were damaged a long time ago, but we still keep them as part of our memories. Like the games we had inside them, we kept them because long ago we had installed an emulator, playing with them was a very fun experience. Currently as I formatted my computer recently I do not have it, but the games do, so surely this installing that emulator again.

Después recuerdo que cuando estaba pequeña mi papá nos regaño, a mi y a mi hermano menor, dos Dsi, uno azul y otro rosado respectivamente. Creo que esto paso hace poco más de 10 años y no puedo creer que rápido pasa el tiempo. Estos Dsi se dañaron hace mucho tiempo, pero aun los conservamos como parte del recuerdo. Al igual que los juegos que teníamos dentro de ellos, estos los conservamos porque hace tiempo habíamos instalado un emulador, jugar con ellos era una experiencia muy divertida. Actualmente como formatee mi computadora hace poco ya no lo tengo, pero los juegos sí, por lo que seguramente este instalando ese emulador nuevamente.

Now if I have to talk about my favorite video games I have to talk about God of War I and II, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 and Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tencaichi 3.

Ahora si tengo que hablar de mis vídeo juegos favoritos tengo que hablar de God of War I y II, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 y Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tencaichi 3. Todos en la versión de PlayStation 2, así que detallemos uno por uno.

The video games of the God of War series were created by Sony Computer Entertainment, mainly based on Kratos, a Spartan demigod. They are based on the action and adventure genres, therefore they are based on Kratos' confrontations with the different characters of the Greek and Nordic mythologies. Greek gods like Ares, Poseidon, Zeus, titans like Cronus and primordial gods like Gaia. Heroes like Heracles, Theseus, or Perseus. Mythological species like gorgons, harpies, or minotaurs.

I'm a big fan of Greek Mythology, I find it very interesting and it was the main reason why I liked this game so much in the past and still do today. Recently I saw my younger brother playing with him and I accompanied him for a while to remember moments of my childhood, I spent hours in front of the television playing God of War, I think that is one of the reasons why today I have to use glasses to see from afar.

Los videojuegos de la seria God of War fueron creados por Sony Computer Entertainment, principalmente se basan en Kratos, un semidiós espartano. Estos están basados en los géneros acción y aventura, por lo tanto se basan en los enfrentamientos de Kratos con los distintos personajes de las mitologías griegas y nórdica. Dioses griegos como Ares, Poseidón, Zeus, titanes como Cronos y dioses primordiales como Gaia. Héroes como Heracles, Teseo, o Perseo. Especies mitológicas como gorgonas, arpías, o minotauros.

Soy muy fan de la Mitología Griega, se me hace muy interesante y fue la razón principal por la que me gusto tanto este juego en el pasado y me sigue gustando a día de hoy. Hace poco vi a mi hermano menor jugando con él y lo acompañe un rato para recordar momentos de mi infancia, pasaba horas frente al televisor jugando God of War, creo que es una delas razones por la cual a día de hoy tengo que utilizar lentes para ver de lejos.

The few people who really know me know that I used to be very anime long ago, about 7 years ago. (I insist, how quickly time passes). As far as Naruto Shippuden was my FAVOURITE anime all over the world, there was nothing to compare to that, as it was my humble personal opinion and even today's sun is the only one I still like. Then, since I already had the Play Station 2, I did my best to get even one video game from the Naruto series. At that time, there were several, but I found "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja 5" and I was very happy.

As at that time I had seen the anime almost that to the letter to play it was very easy, since it is of these games that have their "history mode" beginning by the events given in the first season of Naruto Shippuden, when Naruto returns from his trip with Jiraiya to the village of Konoha until the part where Naruto meets Sasuke and finally the battle of this last with Orochimaru.

Las pocas personas que me conocen de verdad saben que hace mucho tiempo consumía mucho anime, hace aproximadamente 7 años. (Insisto, que rápido pasa el tiempo). Por lo que Naruto Shippuden era mi anime FAVORITO en todo el mundo, no había nada que se comparara a eso, pues era mi humilde opinión personal y hasta el sol de hoy es el único que me sigue gustando. Entonces como ya tenia el PlayStation 2 hice hasta lo imposible por conseguir aunque sea un videojuego de la serie Naruto, para aquel entonces habían varios, pero encontré "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja 5" y fui muy feliz.

Como en aquel entonces había visto el anime casi que al pie de la letra jugarlo se me hizo muy fácil, ya que es de estos juegos que tienen su "modo historia" comenzando por los acontecimientos dados en la primera temporada de Naruto Shippuden, cuando Naruto regresa de su viaje con Jiraiya a la aldea de Konoha hasta la parte donde Naruto se reencuentra con Sasuke y finalmente la batalla de este ultimo con Orochimaru.

Last but not least, this video game I was playing until I said enough, I loved it almost as much as the other 2 previous ones and I also finished it in its entirety. This anime, Dragon Ball Z, I think is one that many people have seen and has been part of his childhood, I saw it when I was very small and took it back when I was about 12 years old to see it in its entirety, if I remember correctly. Of this series of games I had the 2 and the 3, but this last one was my favorite.

I think that one of my favorite parts was the opening of the game and the great variety of characters that it had. I remember clearly that it had a history mode, a great variety of scenarios, special missions and other things that I don't remember much today. This one in particular took me a little longer to finish than the other two, but it still has a place in my heart.

Por ultimo, pero no menos importante, este videojuego que estuve jugando hasta decir basta, lo amaba casi tanto como los otros 2 anteriores y también termine en su totalidad. Este anime, Dragon Ball Z, creo que es uno que muchísimas personas han visto y ha formado parte de su infancia, yo lo vi cuando estaba muy pequeña y lo retome cuando tenia rededor de 12 años hasta verlo en su totalidad, si mal no lo recuerdo. De esta serie de juegos tenia el 2 y el 3, pero este ultimo era mi favorito.

Creo que una de mis partes favoritas era el Opening del juego y la gran variedad de personajes que tenia. Recuerdo claramente que tenia un modo historia, una gran variedad de escenarios, misiones especiales y otro montón de cosas que a día de hoy no recuerdo mucho. Este en particular me tomo un poquito más de tiempo terminar que los otros 2, pero igual tiene un espacio en mi corazón.

I'm happy to mention that these games are still working today, the PlaySatation 2 is still alive and the games still work well, so in my free time I usually play with them to distract myself. Some time ago my dad bought us a Nintendo Wii, although it is more updated it still reminds me of my childhood, since it has some games like Mario Party 9, which reminds me a lot to the times of Dsi and Mario Party. New Super Mario Bros, also brings me the same memory. Also it has Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 which is a plus! This way I will have it present much more time. And another series of more updated games.

I also can't stop mentioning other games that I liked a lot but didn't make it into this top 3 I did: Crash, Pokemon Gold and Silver, Mario Kart, Digimon Data Squad, Guitar Hero Encore Rocks the 80s, Sonic Gems Collection, Resident Evil 4, Mortal Kombat 4, among many others.

Me alegra mencionar que estos juegos a día de hoy SIGUEN FUNCIONANDO, el PlaySatation 2 sigue vivo y los juegos a pesar de todo funcionan correctamente, por lo que en mis ratos libres suelo jugar con ellos para distraerme. Hace tiempo mi papá nos compró un Nintendo Wii, si bien es más actualizado me sigue recordando a mi infancia, ya que tiene algunos juegos como Mario Party 9, el cual me recuerda mucho a los tiempos de Dsi y Mario Party. New Super Mario Bros, igualmente me trae el mismo recuerdo. También tiene Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 lo cual es un plus! Así lo tendré presente mucho más tiempo. Y otra serie de juegos más actualizados.

Tampoco puedo dejar de mencionar otros juegos que me gustaban muchísimo pero no entraron en este top 3 que hice: Crash, Pokemon Oro y Plata, Mario Kart, Digimon Data Squad, Guitar Hero Encore Rocks the 80s, Sonic Gems Collection, Resident Evil 4, Mortal Kombat 4, entre muchos otros.
