Today I spent around 120 minutes trying to finish the main quest of Summer in Mara. I get bored way too easily so I tried to limit myself playing for a certain hours just cause it would refresh my mind and it wouldn't become too tedious and cumbersome to play. In a nutshell after playing a few days now, Summer in mara is best played with a joystick and in the past, I was only using my laptop’s keyboard, I decided to use my gaming keyboard again. With the gaming keyboard, my wrist didn’t strain easily and it was just nice to play something with an external keyboard again.

Anyhow, in today’s update, I finally unlocked some new recipes such as tents and also a few more places on the island which makes me almost complete all the maps in the game. I certainly won’t quit playing this game halfway because I wanted to finish it all. Once I finish all the quests which probably take another 4-6 weeks, I’ll be reviewing Graveyard Keeper and by then I think I’ll reach about 300 days on it (inside the game) and it would be awesome to talk about my experience with it. But for now, we’ll stick with Summer in Mara!

After unlocking Dunna, we’ll unlock a tent and also a few more maps that you can see below. I also managed to finish Awan’s quest and eventually unlocked a stable and now I have a few sheep which will provide milk. My chicken farms are doing well and it provides me with eggs that I can sell on various NPCS around Qalis.

I am also a lot closer to finishing the game as now my quest is to upgrade the boat with another bigger tank and a lot more money. I also recently unlocked a new character Mun and got a new side quests but since I am working on gathering 2200 for the boat, I was not following through Mun’s quest.

While farming in the game make sure to count the cost of the seeds and the profit that you’re making. Otherwise, you’re not going to make a lot of money from it.

One of my constraints was definitely time because my alarm was already ringing as I reached 120 minutes. In fact, I was initially wanting to play only for 60 minutes but I got so immersed and added another 60 minutes. I decided to stop when I wasn’t enjoying it anymore and needed to refresh my brain and do something else.

Tips from me
The best way to make money for upgrading the boat is by mining ores that are available in the mines and throughout the map. Don’t use the fast travel option excessively and save your coins so you can upgrade the boat faster.

Unrelated to Summer in Mara, I’ve also been playing Combat Master. It's a multiplayer shooter and I love playing it to let off some steam. It’s also designed for lower end devices and just simple shooting games. So, don’t expect too much, I will review that one at some point too.
