Today is Fright Friday, and I'm here to share the story mode of Dead Space 1 with you.
In this game, we take control of Isaac Clarke, an engineer trapped aboard a mining ship in deep space, where something horrifying has happened: the crew has been killed and transformed into grotesque creatures. Amidst the darkness and chaos, our goal is to survive while uncovering the dark secrets hidden aboard the USG Ishimura. Get ready for an experience full of tension, grotesque creatures, and moments that will make you jump out of your seat.

Hoy es viernes de terror y vengo a compartir con ustedes el modo historia de Dead space 1.
En este juego, tomamos el control de Isaac Clarke, un ingeniero atrapado a bordo de una nave minera en el espacio profundo, donde algo espantoso ha sucedido: la tripulación ha sido asesinada y convertida en horribles criaturas. En medio de la oscuridad y el caos, nuestro objetivo es sobrevivir mientras desentrañamos los oscuros secretos que se esconden a bordo de la USG Ishimura. Prepárense para una experiencia llena de tensión, criaturas grotescas y momentos que os harán saltar del asiento.

Welcome to the first post of our Fright Friday! This week, we dive into a chilling adventure in the universe of Dead Space, the classic space horror game that will push us to the very edge of fear.
The first step was creating a new save file. As is my tradition with horror games, I selected the maximum difficulty to feel the peak of tension and make the experience as immersive as possible.

Esta semana iniciamos una aventura escalofriante en el universo de Dead Space, el clásico de horror espacial que nos llevará al límite del miedo, lo primero fue crear la nueva partida, como es mi costumbre en los juegos de terror seleccione la maxima dificultad para sentir la maxima tensión y que guese más inmersiva la experiencia.
"New Visitors" is the first chapter, and it begins with our mission: investigating the loss of communication with the USG Ishimura, a massive mining ship in deep space. At first, it seems like a routine mission, offering spectacular views of the cosmos, but events quickly take a terrifying turn.
Nuevos visitantes es el capítulo primero y al iniciar nuestra misión: investigar la pérdida de comunicación con la USG Ishimura, una gigantesca nave minera en el espacio profundo. Al principio, todo parece ser una misión de rutina, donde podemos disfrutar de imagenes espectaculares del espacio, pero los eventos rápidamente se tornan aterradores.
As soon as they arrive at the Ishimura, the team discovers that the ship is eerily silent, with signs that something has gone terribly wrong. Flickering lights, sealed doors, and no trace of the crew set an ominous tone for the mission ahead.
Nada más llegar a la Ishimura, el equipo descubre que la nave está completamente en silencio, con señales de que algo ha salido terriblemente mal. Las luces parpadean, las puertas están selladas y no hay rastro de la tripulación.
The game quickly sets the tone by introducing us to the basic controls, allowing us to move easily as we begin investigating what’s happening aboard the Ishimura.
Rápidamente el juego comienza a ponernos en contexto introduciendonos los controles basicos para que podamos movernos con fácilidad mientras investigamos que sucede aqui.
Upon reaching a control room, we start inspecting a panel, and that’s when everything takes a dark turn.
Al llegar a una sala de control entramos a revisar un panel y ahi se torcio todo.
Soon, what seemed like a simple mystery turned into a fight for survival. While activating something, monstrous creatures appeared out of nowhere and slaughtered the rest of the crew accompanying me—except for two who managed to escape, leaving me watching helplessly through the glass.
Pronto, lo que parecía un simple misterio se convirtio en una lucha por la supervivencia, cuando mientras activava algo unos seres monstruosos salieron de la nada y aniquilaron al resto de la tripulación que me acompañaba a excepción de 2 que lograron escapar mientras yo solo observa tras el cristal .
The creatures quickly noticed my presence, and I had to run as fast as I could. From the very first moment, I felt a sense of helplessness and claustrophobia, being trapped in this dark, massive ship with little hope of escape. Survival became my only option, pushing me to do whatever it took to stay alive.
Las criaturas rápidamente notaron mi presencia y me toco correr lo mas rapido que pude, desde el primer momento senti una sensación de desamparo y claustrofobia, ya que estaba atrapado en esta nave oscura y gigantesca con pocas esperanzas de escape, asi que hacer todo lo posible por sobrevivir es loq unico que me queda.
Upon reaching the elevator and thinking I was safe, I experienced one of the most impactful moments of this first chapter: my first direct encounter with the Necromorphs. These monsters, grotesque creatures with twisted limbs, are relentless in their attempts to kill us, amplifying the sense of danger and dread that defines Dead Space.
Al llegar al ascensor y pensar estar seguro vivi uno de los momentos que mas me impacto de este primer capítulo, me refiero al encuentro directo con los necromorfos. Estos monstruos, seres repulsivos con extremidades grotescas que tratan de matarnos.
After barely surviving these initial moments, we arrive at a place that could be considered safe—although the corpse lying before me says otherwise. At least here, we manage to acquire a weapon to defend ourselves, marking the beginning of our real fight for survival aboard the USG Ishimura.
Tras sobrevivir por los pelos a estos primeros momentos llegamos a este lugr donde se podria decir que estamos salvos, aunque el cadaver que se encuentra ante mi me dice todo lo contrario pero almenos obtendremos un arma para poder defendernos.
After acquiring the plasma cutter and receiving our first combat tutorials, we’ll close this post for today to keep it from getting too long. I hope to see you all in the next Friday of Terror.
