After his adventures with Dementors, Harry felt it was time to learn how to fight them and so he asked Remus Lupin, his Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, to help him. The right spell is a Patronus, which is cast by invoking Expecto Patronum. First Harry just had to practice a bit with a device similar to the ones in Muggle fairs, the ones where you have to hit with a mallet to measure your strength.
Luego de sus aventuras con los dementores, Harry sintió que había llegado la hora de aprender a combatirlos y por esa razón le pidió a Remus Lupin, su profesor de Defensa Contra las Artes Oscura, que lo ayudara. El hechizo indicado es un Patronus que se hace invocando Expecto Patronum. En primer lugar Harry solo tuvo que practicar un poco con un artefacto parecido a los que están en las ferias muggles, esos donde debes golpear con un mazo para medir tu fuerza.
Professor Lupin used a Boggart so Harry could practice feeling in the environment. A Boggart is a creature that hides in dark places and when it's in front of you, it takes on the appearance of your greatest fears, as Harry is afraid of Dementors, the Boggart knew what to do.
El profesor Lupin usó a un Boggart para que Harry pudiera practicar sintiéndose en ambiente. Un Boggart es una criatura que se esconde en lugares oscuros y cuando está frente a ti, toma la apariencia de tus mayores miedos, como Harry le teme a los dementores, el Boggart supo qué hacer.
After the extra class, Harry heard that the Ministry of Magic wanted to execute Buckbeak (the Hippogriff) for "attacking" Malfoy, so Hermione came up with the brilliant idea of going to the library to try and find a book that would help Hagrid in his trial to defend the Hippogriff.
Luego de la clase extra, Harry supo que el Ministerio de Magia quería ajusticiar a Buckbeak (el hipógrifo) por haber "atacado" A Malfoy, por lo tanto a Hermione se le ocurrió la idea brillante de ir a la biblioteca para tratar de encontrar un libro que le ayudaría a Hagrid en su juicio de defensa del Hipógrifo.
But in the library there may have been protective anti-intruder spells because suddenly there was a flock of angry books attacking the golden trio, to get rid of them we had to use the Rictusempra spell, and it was not so easy to fight them off as there were too many of them and they were firing spells as they tried to get closer. The good thing is that during these attacks the three main characters help each other.
Pero en la biblioteca quizá había encantamientos protectores anti intrusos porque de pronto apareció una bandada de libros furiosos atacando al trío de oro, para deshacerse de ellos tuvimos que usar el encantamiento Rictusempra, y no era tan fácil combatirlos ya que había demasiados y disparaban encantamientos mientras intentaban acercarse. Lo bueno es que durante estos ataques los tres personajes principales se ayudan entre sí.
The aim was to try to get up to that balcony at the bottom, but as it was very high up it seemed like an impossible task, but do you remember that spell Ron learnt in D.C.A.O. classes? Well yes, the Carpe Retractum seemed to be a very good option.
El objetivo era tratar de subir a ese balcón que está en el fondo, pero como estaba muy alto parecía una tarea imposible, no obstante ¿recuerdan ese hechizo que Ron aprendió en clases de D.C.A.O? pues sí, el Carpe Retractum pareció ser una muy buena opción.
Gradually Ron got closer to the balcony and when he got there, he just had to activate a lever using the same spell, this lever caused the bookshelves to turn into a stair, therefore Hermione could also get to the balcony (two people were needed to open the door). From there we controlled Hermione, who had to face a group of Imps that we had to fight off by throwing back the firecrackers they threw at us.
Poco a poco Ron se fue acercando al balcón y al llegar allí, solo tuvo que activar una palanca usando el mismo hechizo, esta palanca provocó que los estantes de libros se convirtieran en una escalera, por lo tanto Hermione también pudo llegar al balcón (se necesitaban dos personas para abrir la puerta). A partir de allí controlamos a Hermione, la cual tuvo que enfrentarse a un grupo de Imps a los que hay que combatir lanzándoles de vuelta los petardos que ellos mismos arrojan contra nosotros.
This area is very interesting as Hermione must use the transfiguration spell "Draconifor" to bring a dragon statue to life, fly through the corridor to get a fireball and, using logic, light the logs in the fireplace, which clears the way to the book we need. This game is very educational for children and promotes the use of logic to stimulate intelligence, it's very simple for an adult, but still a lot of fun, at least I find it very entertaining.
Esta zona es muy interesante ya que Hermione debe usar el hechizo de transformación "Draconifor" para darle vida a la estatua de un dragón, volar a través del pasillo hasta obtener una bola de fuego y, usando la lógica, encender los leños de la chimenea, lo que deja el camino despejado hasta el libro que necesitamos. Este juego es muy didáctico para los niños y promueve el uso de la lógica para estimular la inteligencia, resulta muy sencillo para un adulto, pero aún así es muy divertido, al menos a mí me entretiene bastante.
After that area came one of my favourite parts, the Charms class with Professor Flittwick. Harry was chosen to learn the freezing spell "Glacius".
Después de esa zona llegó una de mis partes favoritas, la clase de Encantamientos con el profesor Flittwick. Harry fue el elegido para aprender el encantamiento de congelación "Glacius".
The spell is actually very useful because we have to use it to freeze (among other things) horrible fire salamanders, these things look like Komodo dragons out of hell because they are engulfed in flames and spit fire.
El hechizo de verdad es muy útil porque tenemos que usarlo para congelar (entre otras cosas) a unas horribles salamandras de fuego, estas cosas parecen dragones de Komodo salidos del infierno porque están envueltas en llamas y escupen fuego.
We can also find hidden places with surprises, including collectible stickers (the ones in this area are of goblins) and of course we also have to collect the shields along the way in order to gain access to the Bertie Botts room.
También podemos encontrar lugares escondidos con sorpresas, entre ellas, cromos coleccionables (los de esta zona son de duendes) y desde luego también debemos recolectar los escudos durante todo el recorrido para poder ganar el acceso a la sala de pepas Bertie Botts de todos los sabores.
Another great thing we can do with the Glacius charm is to freeze water fountains and turn streams into ice slides for you to slide down. Along the way you can find goodies, shields and stickers. Fortunately Harry was able to find and take all the shields (even the second to last one which was particularly difficult to take because it moved) so he passed the challenge and gained access to the coveted candy-filled room.
Otra de las cosas grandiosas que podemos hacer con el encantamiento Glacius es congelar fuentes de agua y convertir los arroyos en toboganes de hielo por los cuales tendremos que deslizarnos. Durante el recorrido podrán encontrar golosinas, escudos y cromos. Afortunadamente Harry pudo encontrar y tomar todos los escudos (incluso el penúltimo que era particularmente difícil de tomar porque se movía) por lo tanto superó el desafío y se ganó el acceso a la codiciada sala repleta de golosinas.
