Este videojuego se basa en la historia de una pequeña niña llamada Fran Bow de 10 años de edad. Al principio te muestran que Fran era una niña aparentemente feliz con padres muy amorosos y con una tía cariñosa, a parte tiene un hermoso gatito negro al cual llamo Señor medianoche, el cual ama mucho y lo considera su mejor amigo.
Pero de pronto el relato de la historia da un giro inesperado, cuando una noche los padres de Fran son brutalmente asesinados y el Sr Medianoche se pierde cuando Fran intenta huir al bosque tras descubrir el horrible hecho.
Después de tan horrible acontecimiento Fran es ingresada a un extraño hospital psiquiátrico donde permanece en un constante tratamiento para “curarla” de supuestas visiones horribles que la atormentan y la hacen vivir otra realidad más tenebrosa después de haber vivido aquel trauma por aquel brutal asesinato. Y ahí es donde comienza el juego como tal.
Me causo mucho impacto como en el juego muestran al hospital psiquiátrico y a cada uno de los pacientes (niños) que ahí se encuentran, pues en dicho hospital se muestra más una realidad de cómo solían ser los tratamientos (arcaicos) para las personas con trastornos o algún problema mental para mediados de los años 1944. Y como es el tratamiento de Fran a través de un medicamento llamado “Duotín” el cual le hace ver una especie de segundo plano totalmente perturbador de la realidad en la que se encuentra.
Es sin duda un juego muy interesante donde debes guiar a Fran en la búsqueda de su mejor y único amigo, el Sr Medianoche y en búsqueda de la verdad tras un mundo lleno de terror psicológico que la rodea.
Este juego se basa en 5 capítulos, en donde Fran irá conociendo varios personajes que le darán pistas para así encontrar la manera de encontrar a su gatito y volver a casa con su querida tía Grace. Es a través de aquel medicamento llamado “Duotin” donde Fran lo usa como una herramienta esencial para poder conseguir algunas pistas así poder avanzar.
Me gusta mucho la animación del juego y que sea una novela gráfica en donde los diálogos a veces son graciosos y lleno de acertijos o indicaciones para poder conseguir los objetivos. Fran una especie de monedero en donde guarda los objetos que podrá utilizar más tarde, mientras que por otra parte usará las pastillas.
Recomiendo mucho el juego, no solo por su manera de jugarlo, si no por la historia que tal vez los dejé algo confundidos pero sin duda los entretendra.

This video game is based on the story of a 10-year-old girl named Fran Bow. At the beginning they show you that Fran was an apparently happy girl with very loving parents and a loving aunt, besides she has a beautiful black kitten which she calls Mr. Midnight, which she loves very much and considers him her best friend.
But suddenly the narrative of the story takes an unexpected turn, when one night Fran's parents are brutally murdered and Mr. Midnight is lost when Fran tries to flee into the woods after discovering the horrible fact.
After such a horrible event, Fran is admitted to a strange psychiatric hospital where she remains in constant treatment to "cure" her from supposed horrible visions that torment her and make her live another, darker reality after having experienced that trauma due to that brutal murder. And that's where the game begins as such.
It caused me a lot of impact how in the game they show the psychiatric hospital and each one of the patients (children) who are there, because in said hospital it shows more a reality of how the (archaic) treatments used to be for people with disorders or some mental problem in the mid-1944s. And how is Fran's treatment through a medicine called "Duotin" which makes her see a kind of totally disturbing background of the reality in which she finds herself.
It is undoubtedly a very interesting game where you must guide Fran in the search for her best and only friend, Mr. Midnight and in search of the truth behind a world full of psychological terror that surrounds her.
This game is based on 5 chapters, where Fran will meet various characters that will give her clues in order to find a way to find her kitten and return home with her dear Aunt Grace. It is through that medicine called "Duotin" that Fran uses it as an essential tool to get some clues so she can move forward.
I really like the animation of the game and that it is a graphic novel where the dialogues are sometimes funny and full of riddles or instructions to achieve the objectives. Fran a kind of purse where she keeps the objects that she can use later, while on the other hand she will use the pills.
I highly recommend the game, not only for the way you play it, but also for the story that may have left you a bit confused but will certainly entertain you.
