The SNES was a leap in quality for video games, becoming the improved version of the well-known NES, which handled games in 8-bit formats. Many successful titles continued their journey in the next generation of video game consoles, and Mario Bros, through Super Mario World was positioned as a revolutionary game, and as a continuation of the saga, offering a huge diversity of possibilities, with a more interactive game, and with huge improvements in the audiovisual aspects, achieving a great reception that allowed the developers of nintendo, to be inspired to launch a remastered pack of all the previous titles of the saga, including Super Mario World, achieving an admirable job, and giving all fans the best news that could be expected with the arrival of such remasters, the title for this work of art would be Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World.

La SNES fue un salto de calidad de mucho nivel para los videojuegos, convirtiéndose en la versión mejorada de la conocida NES, que manejaba juegos en formatos de 8 bits. Muchos títulos exitosos, continuaron su recorrido en la siguiente generación de videoconsolas, y Mario Bros., a través de Super Mario World se posicionaba como un juego revolucionario, y como continuación de la saga, ofreciendo una enorme diversidad de posibilidades, con un juego más interactivo, y con enormes mejoras en los aspectos audiovisuales, logrando una gran recepción que permitían a los desarrolladores de nintendo, inspirarse para lanzar un pack remasterizado de todos los títulos anteriores de la saga, incluyendo a Super Mario World, logrando un trabajo admirable, y regalando a todos los fans la mejor noticia que se podía esperar con la llegada de dichas remasterizaciones, el título para esta obra de arte sería Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World.
The essence of the original Super Mario Bros. was maintained, including only some small improvements, with pre-visualizations of the scenarios. It was simply amazing, to meet an improved version, 8 years later, of a videogame that brought us so much joy and left us so many good memories. It was great to see on the cover of the game, the dates 1985-1993, referring to the first game, and this, its remastered version.
La esencia del Super Mario Bros. original se mantenía, incluyendo solo algunas pequeñas mejoras, con pre-visualizaciones de los escenarios. Era simplemente increíble, conocer una versión mejorada, 8 años después, de un videojuego que nos trajo tantas alegrías y nos dejó tan buenos recuerdos. Era genial ver en la portada del juego, las fechas de 1985-1993, haciendo referencia al primer videojuego, y a esta, su versión remasterizada.
This time, they didn't reuse the clouds as bushes, but they created some sprites with movements for this element, the Goomba, and each thing in the game had much better defined sprites, even our friend Mario Bros. had a sharper sprite, although a little more difficult to handle.
Esta vez, no reutilizaban las nubes como arbustos, sino que creaban unos sprites con movimientos para este elemento, los Goomba, y cada cosa dentro del juego tenía unos sprites mucho mejor definidos, incluso nuestro amigo Mario Bros., tenía un sprite más nítido, aunque un poco más difícil de manejar.
The end of each scenario changed a little, because now Mario reached the castle and stayed at the door making the victory sign, something that varied a little too, was the melody, because although it kept the same rhythm, if you noticed a little renewed style that had been implemented, but that was not out of the original.
El final de cada escenario cambiaba un poco, pues ahora Mario llegaba al castillo y se quedaba en la puerta haciendo la señal de victoria, algo que variaba un poco también, era la melodía, pues si bien, mantenía el mismo ritmo, si se notaba un poco el estilo renovado que se le había implementado, pero que no se salía de lo original.
In the coin shortcuts of each world, we could find the same classic scene, although this time we would have a Mario Bros making his victory sign in the background. Fire Mario had much more defined colors, without any additional improvement, but the simple fact of enjoying this title in better quality, was something completely amazing.
En los atajos de monedas de cada mundo, podíamos encontrarnos la misma clásica escena, aunque esta vez tendríamos un Mario Bros haciendo su señal de victoria de fondo. Mario de Fuego tenía unos colores mucho más definidos, sin ninguna mejora adicional, pero el simple hehco de estar disfrutando de este título en mejor calidad, era algo ya completamente alucinante.
The bullets of the cannons, now presented a visual improvement in the wings and eyes, much larger and with a better appearance, another highlight, was the surface of the platform, which in the original game was made of bricks, and now in this remastered version, was grass.
Las balas de los cañones, ahora presentaban una mejora visual en las alas y en los ojos, mucho más grandes y con un mejor aspecto, otro aspecto destacado, era la superficie de la plataforma, que en el juego original era de ladrillos, y ahora en esta versión remasterizada, era de césped.
All the variations of the musical settings of the different scenarios, kept their melody, but had been somewhat adjusted, and it was something easy to perceive, it did not look bad at all, and helped us to remember, that we were enjoying the same classic of the 80`s.
Todas las variaciones de las ambientaciones musicales de los diferentes escenarios, mantenía su melodía, pero habían sido algo ajustadas, y era algo fácil de percibir, no se veía nada mal, y nos ayudaba a recordar, que estábamos disfrutando del mismo clásico de los 80`s.
To be able to play this title again in the way we were playing it was something unthinkable, but this was only the beginning of the infinite number of surprises that Nintendo would bring us generation after generation. Personally, I feel satisfied, for having known this pack at the time, open it, and run into the huge surprise of finding all the previous titles in an improved version, for that time we did not know what a remastering was, we only saw it as an improvement to those video games, our approach was just to enjoy.
Poder volver a jugar este título en la manera en la que lo estábamos haciendo, era algo impensado, pero esto solo era el inicio, de la infinidad de sorpresas que nintendo se encargaría de traernos generación tras generación. Personalmente, me siento satisfecho, por haber conocido este pack en su momento, abrirlo, y toparme con la enorme sorpresa de encontrar todos los títulos anteriores en una versión mejorada, para aquél tiempo no sabíamos lo que era una remasterización, solo lo veíamos como una mejora a esos videojuegos, nuestro enfoque era solo el de disfrutar.
Later I hope to be bringing the other titles of this pack, along with my impressions, because I am sure that many people do not know or did not know Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World. One of the best surprises we got to have in the SNES game console, because the nostalgic effect was beyond what we expected, these were not just video games for us, they were part of our best memories, and again we were enjoying them, it was fascinating, once again, to enjoy all these titles with our family and friends, something that we will be enormously grateful to nintendo.
Más adelante espero estar trayendo los otros títulos de este pack, junto a mis impresiones, pues estoy seguro que muchas personas desconocen o descocían el Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World. De las mejores sorpresas que llegamos a tener en la videoconsola SNES, pues el efecto nostálgico fue más allá de lo esperado, estos no eran simplemente unos videojuegos para nosotros, eran parte de nuestros mejores recuerdos, y nuevamente los estábamos disfrutando, era fascinante, una vez más, disfrutar de todos estos títulos con nuestros familiares y amigos, algo con lo que estaremos enormemente agradecidos con nintendo.
