Throughout my life I have done some very interesting things that are worthy of categorizing as achievements, for example, when I was in my Minecraft Pixelmon game my first goal was to get all 8 Eevee evolutions.
These pokemon were not at all common, if you managed to locate one you had to be very cautious not to hurt it too much, the Eevees appeared from a minimum level like 5 and below, with any hit it could escape, you also have to have special pokeballs, the level balls are the most effective to catch pokemon of very low levels.
That's how I got 8 Eevees and I gave each one a different evolution. Another goal I was able to accomplish was to capture my favorite legendary Pokémon Yveltal in the world of Pixelmon, I remember I spent many hours looking for the biome where this pokemon appeared, I don't even remember what it was, but what I am sure is that it was not at all common that biome.
I had to build a giant house and spend long nights to see if Yveltal appeared, he came out at midnight and I managed to locate him a total of three times, I failed in the attempt to capture him the first two times, but the third time was the charm.
The last example I want to give is having completed NFS Most Wanted on my PlayStation 2, I swear it took me quite a while to complete the game's story and unlock all the cars on that console, the controller didn't help me, and neither did the console's reader.
The achievements I just mentioned mean a lot to me I think I have many more anecdotes like this, but after meditating for a while, thinking about it well, and reviewing my situation as a Gamer last year and now I can say that my greatest achievement is not to have completed a video game, but to have revived a long-unused console.

My mom what she did was to give the "old" Xbox to my uncle for my little cousins and I kept the PlayStation 2 (big mistake) over the years I realized that I had much more fun with my Xbox than with the PlayStation 2, I tried several times to bring the console back but there was no case, by the way, the console ended up being damaged after 2 years of changing home, so I spent the next 7 years without working carrying dust in a drawer without the light of day.
Finally, in February of this year my uncle brought me back the console because obviously, I didn't need it anymore, I tested it and it didn't work so I contacted a friend of mine who fixes video consoles, he told me at first that maybe the Xbox wouldn't work again, but once he checked it he told me that the console had many years of life ahead of it.
That news is the best news I have received in the year, after a month of repair the console was back to its happy house and the first thing, I did was to plug an internet cable into the laptop to move video games from my PC to the video console. I spent a lot of money on this console especially on the controllers, today I have four operational controllers each one with a different color than the other, which makes me very happy.
You may wonder, why did you decide to invest a lot of money in an old console, instead of buying a last-generation console? The answer is simple, in my country Venezuela it is not profitable to have a last-generation video game console because it means a very important expense, only a few families would have the latest models of consoles and surely the money would come from abroad not from here, besides the games would cost you an arm and a leg and most of them are single-player games.
Of all the friends I have none has or knows anyone who has an Xbox Series X or a PlayStation 5, besides I reflect a little on the catalog of games on those consoles, companies prioritize individual experiences by the graphics, but for me, a worth console allows you to enjoy a multiplayer both local and online, The Xbox classic meets those requirements very well.
That is to say if given the choice I would take a retro console over the last generation console thousand times because I would enjoy it more. Reviving my Xbox Classic was the best thing I could have done, we did not know the potential of this fabulous console.
To finish I will show you the video games that I have for my Xbox Classic are not many for the reason that my hard drive does not have much space, I only have the most important ones for me. They are ISO files in a folder format so that the console can read them thanks to its physical chipping.
Among the video games that I like the most I highlight Mario Kart 64 that I can play thanks to the Nintendo console emulator, Final Fantasy 7 the same as in the previous case, but with a PSX emulator, Blinx: The Time Sweeper game exclusive to the Xbox, Def Jam fighting game that also came out for the PS2 and Gamecube, Burnout 3 racing game that I could never save the game on Ps2, Marvel vs Capcom 2 fighting game that gave me many hours of fun when I was little, among other video games.

A lo largo de mi vida he hecho cosas muy interesantes que son dignas de catalogar como logros, por ejemplo, cuando estuve en mi partida de Minecraft Pixelmon mi primer objetivo era conseguir las 8 evoluciones de Eevee.
Estos pokemones no eran para nada comunes, si se lograba localizar a uno había que estar muy precavido para no hacerle mucho daño, los Eevees aparecían de un nivel mínimo como 5 para abajo, con cualquier golpe se podía escapar, también hay que tener pokebolas especiales, las nivel balls son las más efectivas para atrapar pokemones de niveles muy bajos.
Fue así como conseguí 8 Eevees y a cada uno le di una evolución diferente. Otro objetivo que pude cumplir fue el haber capturado a mi Pokémon legendario favorito Yveltal en el mundo de Pixelmon, recuerdo que estuve muchas horas buscando el bioma donde aparecía este pokemon, ya ni me acuerdo cual era, pero lo que si estoy seguro es que no era para nada común ese bioma.
Tuve que hacer una casa gigante y a su vez quedarme a pasar las noches largas para ver si aparecía Yveltal, el salía a media noche y logré localizarlo un total de tres veces, fracasé en el intento de capturarlo las dos primeras veces, pero la tercera fue la vencida.
El último ejemplo que quiero dar es haber completado el NFS Most Wanted en mi PlayStation 2, lo juro me costó bastante completar la historia del juego y desbloquear todos los autos en esa consola, el mando no me ayudaba y el lector de la consola tampoco.
Los logros que acabo de mencionar significan mucho para mí, de hecho, creo que tengo muchas más anécdotas así, pero después de meditar un buen rato, de pensarlo bien y revisando mi situación de Gamer del año pasado con la de ahora puedo decir que mi mayor logro no es haber completado un videojuego, si el haber revivido una consola que estuvo mucho tiempo sin usarse.

Contexto: Cuando cumplí 10 años mi papá me trajo una nueva consola la PlayStation 2, yo me emocioné por el simple hecho de que era nueva, el Xbox ya no contaba con lector de disco, pues con el paso del tiempo se deterioró, yo no sabía de consolas, era un niño pequeño.
Mi mamá lo que hizo fue regalar la Xbox “vieja” a mi tío para mis primos pequeños y yo me quedé con la PlayStation 2 (grave error) con el paso de los años me di cuenta de que me divertía mucho mas con mi Xbox que con la PlayStation 2, intenté varias veces traer la consola de vuelta pero no hubo caso, dicho sea de paso, la consola terminó de dañarse después de 2 años de que cambio de casa, así que sacando cuentas pasó los siguientes 7 años sin funcionar llevando polvo en un cajón sin la luz del día.
Finalmente, en febrero de este año mi tío me trajo devuelta la consola porque obviamente ya no la necesitaba, la probé y no funcionó así que contacté a un amigo mío que arregla video consolas, él me dijo al principio que tal vez el Xbox no volvería a funcionar, pero una vez que la revisó me dijo que la consola tenía muchos años de vida por delante.
Esa noticia es la mejor que he recibido en el año, después de un mes de reparación la consola volvió a su casa feliz y lo primero que hice fue enchufar un cable de internet a la laptop para trasladar videojuegos desde mi Pc hasta la video consola. Gasté mucho dinero en esta consola sobre todo en los mandos, hoy en día tengo cuatro mandos operativos cada uno con un color distinto al otro, lo que me hace muy feliz.
Ustedes se preguntarán ¿Por qué decidiste invertir mucho dinero en una consola vieja, en vez de comprar una consola de ultima generación? La respuesta es simple, en mi país Venezuela no es rentable tener una consola de videojuegos de última generación porque significa un gasto demasiado importante, sólo pocas familias tendrían los últimos modelos de consolas y seguramente el dinero lo sacarían del exterior no de aquí, aparte los juegos te costarían un ojo de la cara y en su inmensa mayoría son juegos de un solo jugador.
De todos los amigos que tengo ninguno tiene o conoce a alguien que tenga una Xbox Series X o un PlayStation 5, aparte me pongo a reflexionar un poco en el catalogo de juegos de esas consolas, las compañías priorizan las experiencias individuales por los gráficos, pero para mí una consola que vale la pena es aquella que te permita disfrutar un multijugador tanto local como online, El Xbox clásico cumple muy bien con esos requisitos.
Es decir, si me dan a elegir me quedo mil veces con una consola retro que una consola de última generación porque la disfrutaría más. Revivir mi Xbox Clásico fue lo mejor que pude haber hecho, no sabíamos el potencial que tiene está videoconsola fabulosa.
Para acabar les mostraré los videojuegos que tengo para mí Xbox clásico no son muchos por la razón de que mi disco duro no tiene mucho espacio, sólo tengo los más importantes para mí. Son archivos ISO en formato de carpeta para que la consola lo pueda leer gracias a su chipeo físico.
