Hola Gamers ¿Cómo están? Espero que estén super bien y sean bienvenidos a una nueva publicación hecha por mí. Hoy vuelvo ante ustedes con un nuevo videojuego de carreras, está vez para mi consola favorita la Xbox Clásica, un juego de carreras que tenía muchas ganas de probar gracias a que su título me sedujo un poco y eso que es muy simple.
El juego a tratar hoy se llama Corvette un videojuego de carreras basándose única y exclusivamente en los autos de la marca de Chevrolet, concretamente de un solo modelo que es el Corvette, anteriormente he hablado sobre otros videojuegos de carreras que tiene como temática una sola marca, ya lo hice con Ferrari y Porsche, pero en este caso estamos hablando de un juego donde no tiene en sí la marca, si no que jugamos con un solo modelo, claro el Corvette en sí es el coche deportivo más exitoso de la compañía Chevrolet que a día de hoy cuenta con 8 generaciones.

¿Por qué decidí hablar de este videojuego? Pues muy fácil, el Corvette es mi auto favorito de todos, en mí habitación debo tener como 30 modelos de este coche en juguete por ahí tirados jaja, es el auto que siempre elijo para competir en los videojuegos de carreras, cuando era niño este coche me enamoro más que todo por sus luces traseras, ahí definí mi gusto sobre los autos de carreras, entonces cuando descubrí este juego pues no podía dejarlo pasar, es un juego exclusivo para el Corvette mi coche deportivo favorito.
El juego Corvette fue creado en parte para celebrar el 50 aniversario de la marca Corvette y salió para las consolas PS2 y Xbox en el año 2003, en este caso decidí descargarme la versión de Xbox clásico ya que fue de esta manera que conocí el juego. Antes de empezar tengo que aclarar que las capturas que verán en la presente publicación son fotografías sacadas de mi celular, debido a que no sé dónde está la capturadora, esta misma la usaba para captar la señal del televisor a la PC, pero como no la encontré y no sé dónde está pues decidir no perder más tiempo.

Lo primero que sale es la intro del juego, la cual me parece una pasada, con una música de Jazz de fondo y un Corvette convertible C1 de un lado, y un Corvette C5 del otro corriendo en un desierto, y bueno lo que es las gráficas y los modelos de los coches están bien para lo que es, los Corvette se ven bien, sobre todos los descapotables y un detalle muy bueno es que cuando jugamos con un auto descapotable aparece un conductor con expresiones jaja.
En Corvette, los jugadores compiten con autos Corvette de distintas generaciones, la primera cosa que me llamó la atención fue que el modo arcade del juego se basa en categorías, tenemos 10 carreras para cada generación del Corvette, las generaciones podemos identificarlas por su modelo de C, el Corvette C1 por ejemplo es la primera generación, el Corvette C2 es la segunda y así sucesivamente, el juego llega hasta el Corvette C5 y me llama la atención porque si los programadores se hubieran aguantado 2 años más en sacar el juego hubieran incluido la sexta generación que es el Corvette C6 y en lo personal es la generación que más me gusta de este coche.

Pero bueno no sucedió por lo de 50 aniversario, aunque me hubiera gustado verlo así sea en un concept car. El modo arcade fue el que jugué primero y cada vez que llegas en una determinada posición puedes desbloquear las pistas siguientes, también tenemos el modo carrera, este modo nos permite desbloquear diferentes modelos de Corvette que están ocultos en el juego, también se pueden modificar los autos como si estuviéramos en Need For Speed o algo así jaja.
En ocasiones las carreras serán un poco traicioneras, ya que a veces aparece el tráfico y la policía, así es, en este juego también tenemos persecuciones policiales, no tan intensas como en otros videojuegos, pero hay que huir y saber a dónde ir, esto me gusta porque añade una especie de desafío al juego, pero lo más desafiante de todo es la jugabilidad.

La jugabilidad y las físicas del juego en sí son buenas, no son lo mejor del mundo, pero son aceptables, me recuerda un poco a los juegos arcade de los centros comerciales, ya que el manejo del auto creo que está más pensado para un volante que un mando, los cruces son sensibles, hay que tener cierto tacto para saber cómo cruzar con la palanca del mando de Xbox y en cuanto a las físicas son duras, es decir, se puede notar la suspensión del coche cuando arranca o cuando pasa por un acantilado, cuando chocas se ve que hay cambios en el manejo, la forma de manejar no es fácil, hasta te puede cansar un poco.

También me recuerda un poco a Bornuot 3, otro juego que tengo para la Xbox clásica, pero es mucho más lento. La dificultad también en principio es dura, ya que las carreras son bastante físicas y digamos que los demás corredores no les afectan lo mismo que al jugador, es decir, ellos pueden cruzar normal, pero nosotros cuando hacemos un cruce brusco derrapamos, para poder jugar mejor a este videojuego es recomendable usar los gatillos para acelerar como desacelerar.

Bueno en cuanto a los autos disponibles, no tengo mucho que decir, son todos Corvette de distintas generaciones, lo bueno es que cada modelo tiene distintas versiones, que si Coupe o descapotables, algunos son tuneados, otros son versiones especiales muy famosas, como en el caso del Corvette Grand Sport del año 1996, y otros modelos que le dan más personalidad al juego, como El C3 de Hot-wheels.
Bueno Gamers, espero que les hay gustado el post de hoy, Corvette es un juego de carreras curioso que me ha parecido bueno, hay mejores opciones para videojuegos de carreras, pero para alguien fanático de este modelo de coche en concreto resulta una bonita experiencia.

Well very easy, the Corvette is my favorite car of all, in my room I must have about 30 models of this car in toys lying around haha, it is the car I always chose to compete in racing video games, when I was a kid I fell in love with this car mostly for its taillights, there I defined my taste about racing cars, then when I discovered this game I could not pass it up, it is an exclusive game for the Corvette my favorite sports car.

The arcade mode was the one I played first and every time you reach a certain position you can unlock the next tracks, we also have the career mode, this mode allows us to unlock different models of Corvette that are hidden in the game, you can also modify the cars as if we were in Need For Speed or something like that haha.
Sometimes the races will be a bit treacherous, as sometimes traffic and police appear, that's right, in this game we also have police chases, not as intense as in other video games, but you have to run away and know where to go, I like this because it adds a kind of challenge to the game, but the most challenging of all is the gameplay.

The gameplay and physics of the game itself are good, they are not the best in the world, but they are acceptable, it reminds me of a few arcade games in shopping malls, as the handling of the car I think is more designed for a steering wheel than a controller, the crossings are sensitive, you have to have some tact to know how to cross with the lever of the Xbox controller and as for the physics are hard, that is, you can notice the suspension of the car when it starts or when it goes over a cliff, when it cochar you can see that there are changes in the handling, the way of driving is not easy, it can even tire you a little.
