I had a similar experience recently where I placed 2nd in All Star Comp and the reward was fairly mediocre, but hey something is better than nothing.

Your super rare collection has been building up nicely the past 6 months since the 25/26 season. I still have been exclusively play limited and rare and haven't taken the next step with super rare. I have a friend who exclusively plays super rare.
