Hi guys, to some of us today is the last day of the week while to others today is the first day of the new week, which ever way, we know Sunday is for my Splinterlands weekend shopping post, however I didn't go shopping this weekend, I've had a change of heart, I figured that it is time to start to concentrate on powering up the cards I already have rather than keep on randomly stacking. It just kinda makes sense this way.
I've observed that my main cards are still lacking in level and if I had taken this decision earlier I would have a better portion of my cards in high levels by now. My former idea of continuously buying packs wasn't entirely wasteful, I got a couple of Legendary and gold cards from packs I bought, so it's not a decision I'm regretting, we just have to shift focus for now so let me tell you the cards I'm planning to level up and hopefully max out.
It goes without mention that summoners need to be leveled up, leveling up cards practically doesn't make a lot of sense without leveling up summoners, that's how important they are. Funny thing is about a year ago when summoners were still a bit cheaper compared to what they cost now, I always thought it was expensive to level them up and thought I should wait till a bit later, well, that later never came and now those summoners have become more expensive.
Today is not for summoners though, but for cards that I think will greatly impact my deck and lead me to more wins. Counting down from 5, lets see my top card picks to level up.
5
Goblin Sorcerer
Earth Splinter
Common
Present value = $0.052
Personally, this is one of the most useful cards in the Earth Splinter, it has a very small mana yet so dangerous, it also has the ability to sneak, letting it attack enemy cards from the rare rather than from the front.
The thing is, it is rare for a card with the reflect ability to be at the back, so an enemies back line will always suffer a lot of damage if Goblin sorcerer is put against it especially if it is in its highest levels where it gives a magic attack with 3 damage points.
4
Kobold Miner
Fire Splinter
Common
Present Value $0.085
I'm a sucker for cards with low mana, or better put, I'm a sucker for "lethal" cards with low mana and that's exactly what Kobold Miner is. Just look at it shine at its highest level where it has more life than any other monster of similar mana.
3
Spineback Turtle
Water Splinter
Common
Present value $0.03
If you're a monster with small mana, with more than 3 life, with more than 2 damage and a special ability, you better look for me, cuz I'm your daddy! You're totally my type!!!My enemy is in trouble when I walk into the battle field with this monster in front of the line especially at its highest levels.
Imagine combining this card with Daria Dragonscale, it automatically increases its melee damage by 1 making it a total of 4 and yet, when an enemy card touches it, the card gets damaged as well, super dope!
2
Silvershed Assassin
Rare
Life Monster
Present value $0.059
I understand a monster having a damage point of 3, I even understand that of 4 - Goblin Merch has that, but the one that baffles me is having a damage point of 3, but twice, making it 6 damage point at a given hit! Are you a hitman or what! No wonder why its called an Assassin.
1
Haunted Spirit
Death splinter
Rare
Present value $0.56
No doubt this card at its highest levels will turbo charge my Death Splinter, I put it as number one because it is high on my priority, it is the most deadly tank healer of all Splinters with an ability to reflect and reduce magic attacks, it is a perfect front line soldier and I can't wait to get it up
I have a ton more cards I intend to level up, I just had to squeeze these out according to level of priority and ease at which I can get them done while also trying to even them out by picking from each splinter, we would have both slept on this post if I had written Top 10 cards to level up haha.
Don't forget that if you don't have a Hive account or haven't bought any cards, you can still play for fun by registering with your Email address. This will allow you access to a lite account. The real deal is when you buy your cards and build your deck, because only then will you have access to tournaments, daily and season quests.
If you're game, I'm always up for a challenge. Hit me up and get your ass whooped.
Battle till you drop!!!! See ya.😠😡😈😈😠😝
