Damnn Ayato's got some moves 🤣
So I recently got Ayato on genshin impact! I'm so excited to use him in my team and play with him. Although I have farmed prior for his ascension materials, level up materials, etc. I haven't been able to finish farming his best artifact set yet! So I thought I should show you guys the domain for his set.
As you can see, I built him quite a bit so he's at least functioning. But I want his best artifact set to make me satisfied as he can then be fully complete.
I love that genshin made Ayato a drinking boba animation, that's what drew me to him at first. Because if you didn't know, I really love boba too 😆 So I can relate to him in a spiritual level haha
This domain also has Xiao's best set, while farming for Ayato I will probably be collecting a lot of these artifacts too. However I don't have Xiao so hopefully in the future genshin will release another person who uses this set. Maybe I'll be able to use it on a different character? Anyways, time to go into the domain...
This is the team I'm bringing into this domain, it seems to work out alright. Using Ayato with electro characters to make electro charged reactions is a very fun playstyle. Zhongli's shield is also quite helpful. And Zhongli is just good in every team 🙃
These are the enemies in the domain. There are 2 Ruin Sentinels and 1 Ruin Grader. I like these options and the domain because the enemies are pretty quick to kill as they're all here at once. So it's not annoying to farm at all.
Ayato hits very fast with his elemental skill which is very satisfying to watch. I like how similar he is to his sister when it comes to attacks. His elemental skill also loads up very quick. I'm more than satisfied with his damage output, he's a very balanced character and fun to play as well.
His attack animations are so nice and clean! I also love Ayato's outfit it looks very elegant! I'm very happy with his character design. The domain challenge is finally completed. Time to get our rewards!

Sadly this run was a fail because we didn't get any gold Ayato pieces. (The aqua colour ones) However, I did some more farming and I'm halfway finished with his set. I was surprisingly lucky in this domain because usually it takes me weeks or so to get this much progress in artifact farming.
These are the pieces I have right now. I was very lucky with that on set hydro goblet! It allows me to use a different off piece. The rolls are also pretty decent on my artifacts. More crit rate would be nice, but I'll just use a crit rate hat + crit rate sword to make up for it. I now just need either a crit hat or atk% timepiece from the domain and I'm finished! (:
While waiting to get his best set, I've equipped him with 4 piece gladiators as a substitute. Although this set isn't bad, the new domain set is still better for him as he does more dmg overall with it. But yeah, if you can't spare the materials to farm for the new set, definitely go for 4 piece heart of depth or 4 piece gladiators.
