Hello to all Hivers and Gamers!
For the past weeks MydEmpire has been quietly built step by step.
It has now been a few days since MydEmpire opened its early testing phase, and it has been an exciting experience to watch the game come alive.
When a game is still in development, most of the time you are working alone — writing code, fixing bugs, testing features again and again.
But everything changes the moment real players start interacting with the game.
Over the last few days, players have started doing exactly that.
Packs Are Opening, Factories Are Rising
Players are actively opening packs and discovering what they contain.
Inside those packs they are finding lands, blueprints, and EMP, which allow them to start building their industrial empire.
Many players have already:
- Opened multiple packs
- Built their first factories
- Started generating EP (Empire Points)
- Begun expanding their production
Seeing the first factories come online and start producing EP is a very satisfying moment after many weeks of development.
It means the core system of the game is now being tested with real player activity.
A Lucky Player Found the First Relic
One of the most exciting moments so far was when the first Relic appeared.
Relics are extremely rare items in MydEmpire, so discovering one is always a special event.
A lucky player managed to mint the first Relic from a pack, creating a lot of excitement among the early testers.
Moments like this are what make pack opening fun — you never know when something rare might appear.
Marketplace Testing Has Started
Another important part of the game currently being tested is the marketplace.
Players have begun interacting with the market, exploring how trading works and testing the system in real situations.
This stage is important because real players always find things that developers might miss.
Every bug report and suggestion helps make the system more stable and better for the future.
Community Discussions Are Growing
Something that has been very encouraging is the activity happening in the Discord community.
Players are already:
- Sharing their progress
- Reporting bugs
- Discussing strategies
- Talking about pack drops and factories
When players start discussing the game on their own, it means the world of the game is slowly becoming alive.
This kind of early community activity is extremely valuable during the testing phase.
Leaderboard Is Now Live
To make things more interesting, the Leaderboard is now live.
Players can now see how their empire compares with others in terms of production and progress.
Even in these early days, a friendly competition has already started.
Some players are moving quickly to expand their industries and climb the rankings.
It will be interesting to see how the leaderboard evolves as more factories are built.
The Importance of Player Stories
One thing I am learning during this process is that a game grows through player stories, not just development updates.
A lucky relic drop, someone building their first factory, or players competing on the leaderboard — these moments create the real history of the game.
And these moments are already starting to appear in MydEmpire.
Hive Gaming Ecosystem
Hive already has some amazing games, and many players come from projects like:
- Rising Star
- Splinterlands
- dCrops
Seeing new games appear and grow alongside existing ones is what makes the Hive gaming ecosystem unique.
Every new project adds another layer to the ecosystem.
The Journey Has Just Started
This is still just the early testing phase.
Players are helping test:
- Pack opening
- Factory building
- EP production
- Marketplace trading
- Leaderboards
Every bug reported and every suggestion shared is helping improve the game step by step.
The first empires are rising.
And this is only the beginning.
The MydEmpire world is just starting to grow.
