End of Season Report
The season has come to an end and it felt like a long 2 weeks with some challenges and some tough battles. I started the season with just 20k CP and needed to borrow lots of CP on the market and through delegation to take me over the 50k mark to stay battling in Gold III.
Some of the battles were against some really tough opponents where I was totally out-skilled by higher-rated summoners and monsters. There was no way I could compete with them.
However, as the season went on, I rented some interesting cards to give me a more tactical advantage and the battles started to go better in Gold III.
Overall my returns are ok but nothing too special from my 44 chests. I ended in Gold II comfortably after buying a few new cards on the last day of the season.
Maxed up cards
Here I maxed up my first golf foil which gave my CP a nice boost and hopefully the card might come in useful:
I followed this up with a few more which took my CP up into the 80k area. I need to get to over 100k to compete in Gold I. But to do that, I also need some further rentals/upgrades to my deck for sure!
FOMO for the PROMO
Yesterday everyone has been focusing on the Riftwatchers release where the 500k packs were sold out in less than a minute... the FOMO for the PROMO was strong! This is a good sign for Splinterlands I think.
I didn't partake in the FOMO but instead was out buying those looking to sell assets on the market.
One of those buys was the Pelacor Arbalest gold foil. I managed to grab myself a bunch of them and the price has already shot up by the looks of the chart!
Overall, rental income is down at the moment, but hopefully it will pick up again this season. The grind is real.
Thanks for reading.
