Sony's masterpiece returns ...
Have you ever stood among a crowd that you feel you don't belong to? That while it sees you, it passes you as if you are not there? Where you shout at as loudly as you can and it didn't listen to you? Of course you have. Well, you are not the first one and certainly not the last.
It is the desert that you suddenly realized that you are in, a desert full of broken dreams, opportunities, phobias and directed teachings of the meaning of your existence. You are sitting in the middle of it, you get up and look around. Don't be afraid. Just the fact that you got up and didn't let the sand cover you, is the first step.
What you have to do now is to see what is there for you beyond the hill in front of you. You will understand it, because as a creation of the same matter that makes up the universe, it has always been a part of you, it is the same part that whispered to you about your anxious nights.
It is a new reality. You will not go back now, the journey has already begun ... and it's worth it ... you feel it. But the destination will not be clear. Never was. You just know it's right inside you.
It is in the light of a distant mountain that you see and it attracts you, it is in the stars that have fallen, fulfilling the same wish that you made all these years ago. It is the sound of the hot air that always called you. Decisively you will take a step forward. And if you lose hope, look for the desert flower, it will be somewhere there, to give you courage and to remind you that no matter how adverse the conditions are, life will always find its way. You will learn that everything is a matter of perspective.
Then you will see that the sand can become beautiful, because it is part of you ... is that that made you what you are, it is what brought you here where you are. Are you ready? Shake off the dust and get up.
Whatever I'll say about Journey is little. The game is unique not only for the great picture quality (1080p / 60fps) and music, but also for the fact that this trip is allegorical, leaving the player to give their own interpretation. ThatGameCompany has delivered some "special" games like Flow and Flower in the past, but in Journey not only surpassed itself, but also made many expensive blockbusters ashamed. The landscapes from the glowing desert to the snow-capped mountains are like a dream come true.
The music, by Austin Wintory, is fantastic.
On your journey you will meet other players who are making their own trip to the mountain and it is your choice whether you will be a companion with one of them or you will make the trip yourself.
Although you can't communicate in the traditional way, the idea of trying to communicate by taking notes is unique because it makes you find a way, either there will be two notes for "yes" or there will be multiple presses of the cycle to "follow me". However, if you choose to travel with someone else, the bond you will feel with an essentially unknown player is something that is not achieved, even in games that are played exclusively co-op.

You may have played many games in your life. What is certain is that Journey is not just a game. It is an experience that will be etched in your heart and you will never forget. Do yourself a favor and live it. If a video game can be described as a form of contemporary art, then this is undoubtedly Journey.
