We're changing formats!
So, I've decided to predominantly move from purely recording my playthrough to streaming it. It's been a pretty decent change now that I've managed to actually get OBS set up in a good manner. It means that I have a bit more interaction with my small community, and it means I can make a bit longer content.
The downside to longer content (plus the stated real-life issues I mentioned in a different post), is that it makes for a lot more content to sort through for a gameplay update here. In the interest of catching up to streams, I'm going to summarize the current state of our world, which should take us from the prior post (Ep29) through to Episode 33.
Our bannerlord has had some push and pull in this series of videos.
We finished our battles against the Sturgians, only to immediately be attacked by the Western Empire. Again.
Thankfully, we're veterans of siege warfare and the Western Empire is greatly weakened from their prior powerful state.
It takes a few episodes of play, but we do manage to push them back and they sue again for peace. It's great timing, as the Battanians just declared war on us and we mean to take them out anyhow.
In this series of episodes we also manage to Assault a Keep for the first time in our gameplay. It's super cool - similar to how bandit camps work, we take a small force to assault the survivors holed up in the fort. It gives some really cool new small maps to fight in, which I definitely find to be a refreshing change.
With that said - future posts will probably go back to a better (longer and more detailed) format, but I thought getting caught up to the streams would be useful. I'll be posting with links when I go live in the next few days for those who want to follow along with our stalwart Bannerlord - Oblivion.
Until next time friends, Happy Gaming!
