Early Access Experience | Modern Warfare II

Hello, my fellow hive friends; today, I am back with something different besides my usual PS and PC streams. Today, you guys will watch a stream highlight of early access to Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. I swear I have been restlessly waiting for this game to come out since I saw the first trailer; I know it will be lit! So many COD followers in the gaming community because of COD Warzone and its ease of playing. Everyone has been enjoying their time there; so many Verdansk lovers want the old map to return and all! We have just seen a preview of Warzone 2.0 on the announcement preview. But as everyone is saying, the game needs a lot of tuning before release, or it will be a disaster. I want Activision to take notes and tune the game with the community in mind! Let's jump into a deeper dive for Beta!

My initial feeling about gunplay

The guns feel amazing! Just like MW 2019, you can feel the gun right in your hands, the loading animations, weapon swings, the behavior while firing the weapon, the scopes, everything feels right. While using different ARs, players might feel the weapon muzzle flash is too much, but besides that, I think they feel just right! Everyone is pissed about the aim-down-sight timeframe, as it feels a bit more compared to the previous game. People are complaining the game is suggesting a campy or defensive playstyle. But from my point of view, I think we have to adapt to the playstyle and still get them, defensive players! I have been scoring pretty well on my gameplay so far, but there is always room for improvement!

Environment design

A+, Pirm! The map layouts are great. The opportunity for rotations and engagement is well thought out! My favorite map so far has been Breenbergh Hotel. It's a 6v6 medium-sized map. A good combination of open and closed quarter fights can take place here. I love to stay on a high pace for close-quarter engagements, the B point for domination can be a little overwhelming as it's easy to hide or stay head glitched there, but it's manageable.

Weapon progression

This has to be the best thing that has ever happened to Call of Duty. Not everyone has hours and hours to play a game to unlock everything in a gun. Also, it doesn't make sense to have every attachment locked for guns in the same class, as you should be able to equip the same type of attachment to the guns with the same base. Still, you have some base weapon attachments to unlock, no matter what. We would have a better understanding of them after the final release.
